Excellent service at the mitcham branch. Lorraine was exceptional she gave us brilliant advice from when we first contacted her then throughout the whole process of arranging our mother's funeral especially at these very testing times.

First Class service from all the Team at Gillman Mitcham. I cannot Thank Stephanie, Tony and all the wonderful Team enough for making a very difficult time so much easier to deal with. Highly Recommended.

I cannot thank the team enough for the kindness, advice and care they offered my family throughout the whole planning and actual day of the funeral. Their attention to detail and guidance made what could have been a very stressful time, so much easier. Nothing was too much trouble.
I wholeheartedly recommend Gillmans funeral services and would use their services again without hesitation.

My partner Paul passed away in November and his preferred choice of funeral parlour was Gillman in Mitcham. I was at my lowest ebb and really didn't know what to expect or what to do.
Steph was amazing! She was very compassionate, thoughtful and very understanding. She went through everything with me step by step.
She even suggested things I hadn't thought of. Myself and the family was very blessed to see Paul laid to rest before the funeral.
A member of Gillman came to my house 2 days before the funeral to reassure me and go through the day.
The whole day went to plan,I didn't have to think.
Myself and the family would like to thank everyone at Gillman Mitcham for making or pain a little less.
I would highly recommend Gillman and will be buying my own funeral plan there. Thank you

We can not thank Katy enough for her all support and professionalism during our time with Gillman's. She was kind and warm, nothing was to much.. she made a deeply emotional and difficult experience much easier. Katy and the team are a credit to the company and we highly recommend their services.

I used Gillman’s three years ago and had a very professional and compassionate service from them so when my dad passed away recently I contacted them again to arrange his funeral. They made a very upsetting time a lot easier and was very helpful and professional with everything they did. All the arrangements were made over the phone and by email.

Only giving 1 star as i cannot give any less if i want to write a review… firstly i want to big up how unprofessional, uncaring, mean, dishonest, very apathetic KATY is who works at the mitcham branch. For someone who is there to provide a service, the last ever service of a loved one being layed to rest i cannot explain how disgusted we are as a family with the service we have received. My nan and grandad payed for their funeral years ago, now my grandad has passed my nan is sorting everything out to get him finally layed to rest, for 2 days my nan walked to the funeral directors to sort a date for his funeral, 2 days she was told to go there and both days the funeral directors was closed - no phone, no email, NOTHING! The 2nd day my nan called the telephone number and asked KATY where she was, apparently she was with families and sorting funerals yet she happily picked up the phone in front of them?! As someone who is a florist and deals with funeral directors on a daily basis, i know if a funeral director is with a family the phone gets diverted so there fore KATY must have either lied or she answered her mobile in front of grieving families. My nan struggles with walking and her balance so this was a big task for her to walk to the branch twice, never mind just loosing her husband of 50 odd years, even if my nan was in great health what kind of service is that?! Funerals cost thousands, and im sure the last thing you want to provide a loved one is the best send off possible, but now will we have that horrible memory of dealing with a horrible uncaring person who clearly doesnt give a damn about her job or the families grieving. I phoned the mitcham branch and left a message on thursday 29th july at 4.45pm roughly, i asked someone to call me back, im still waiting for that phonecall! Theres alot more that i would love to write but that can wait, Once my grandad is laid to rest we will be putting in a formal complain about the service received.

Gillman funeral directors handled my lovely auntie funeral with such kindness they made every step bearable, the staff were easy to talk too, and handled their duties very professionally.
