From day one of our contact with Leverton and Sons at Gospel Oak, the manager, Suzannah Edwards, showed such sincere concern and kindness. At a time of great grief and sorrow, she dealt with everything with sensitivity. She was highly professional, but always caring and we couldn't have asked for a better person to care for my son and our farewell to him. We will always remember her for that, with true gratitude. Thank you Suzannah.

Funeral Director Lorna Walkden at Leverton & Sons Ltd helped make the sad event of my husband's death manageable. I felt that I was in good hands. Everything ran smoothly. When I suggested a Piper, Lorna immediately produced one. David Whitney, the piper, added a touch of class to the service and was much admired. I appreciated the fact that he was present at both the Church Service and the Rite of Committal. He also accompanied the hearse from the Leverton office on Malden Street to St Dominick's Church whilst playing Amazing Grace and the mourners were following.

The Woodland Burial Area at the Islington and St Pancras Cemetery worked out well. It was the perfect place of rest for Peter, the man who built Solar House, the first ecological building in London to get planing permission in 1996. To add to the romance of the Woodland Burial Area, it even has visits from the wild life.

I too will be buried there with my beloved one day.

What more could anyone wish for?

All in all, despite pandemic rules, it was a successful funeral.

Suzannah & Lorna were a fantastic help with arranging my partners funeral. They were discreet and supportive throughout and on the day, the whole team was incredibly professional. I would not hesitate in using them again, highly recommended.
