Haven Funeral Services helped me and my family with the repatriation of a beloved one back to Zimbabwe in May 2020. From the first phone call with Steve I just felt comforted, they made the process seem effortless regardless of the Covid 19. Steve accomodated all my requests, went above and beyond, constantly giving updates, responding to all my calls, texts and emails. Against all odds they made the repatriation a success and I am forver grateful to Steve, Brian and the rest of the team.

I had to use Haven a funeral services for the repatriation of my father's body to the United States. They were very courteous and helpful throughout the entire process. They were very responsive to my phone calls and but could improve on being more responsive via email.

I would like to thank Brian and his team for providing a first class service. Nothing was too much trouble. We received support from day one right up to the very end which made things less stressful for my family at such a difficult time. I would highly recommend Haven!

If you want to feel that the person for whom the funeral is being arranged is the only person in the world that matters, then Haven Funeral Services is the provider to choose. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble, including several last minute changes. Every alteration was met with a pleasant smile and immediate action. Calls were made late into the night, and answered. Requests emailed overnight and responded to immediately. Polite reminders were sent when I had forgotten about certain deadlines. An Order of Service as put together, printed and delivered in 2 days, including professional design. I could go on and on.

Brian and the team were simply outstanding on the two occasions I had to use them.

I dislike leaving bad reviews and don't often do so, but the service that we received from this funeral home following my father's death was abysmal, and I very much regret having instructed them. After the initial meeting, which was very supportive and reassuring, we had minimal contact from Haven and their communication was terrible. I had to chase them to find out if dad's body had been transferred to them from the mortuary as it didn't seem to cross their minds that we might like to know that this had taken place, and then again chase them on the Friday before my dad's Monday funeral to find out what would happen on the day as I was still in the dark about the events of the day. They claimed not to have received an earlier email, only to then admit that they must have received it because they had documented some of the details from it such as the songs to be played at the funeral, but they neither acknowledged receipt of the message or answered the questions I had asked in it. On the day of the funeral itself, and as the hearse parked up with the coffin, one of the pallbearers deemed it appropriate at that moment to (rudely and fairly aggressively) have a go at my stepmother and I, in front of other guests, because the service coordinator was running late, and he made no efforts to hide his irritation at this, even though it was clearly not our fault that she was running late, and WE WERE BUSY TRYING TO GRIEVE, a fact which was completely ignored. The lack of both empathy and professionalism was astonishing. And the cherry on the cake was Haven's failure to tell us when they had received my dad's ashes after the funeral so that we could collect them. When we asked why, they said "it's in the contract that you contact us when you're ready". The fact that they think that grieving families have time to read through contracts, and they can't even drop a simple email to let us know that the ashes were ready for collection whenever we were ready to do so, is incredible, and again shows poor communication and empathy. So, thanks to Haven, my abiding memory of my dad's funeral is being told off by the pallbearer for the service coordinator running late, making what was already a miserable day so much worse, and that's something that I'm never going to be able to change.

This is the second time I used Haven Funeral Services.
In 2020 Brian was there for us from the beginning to end, with dignity consideration and professionalism.
Once again Brian was there to help/advise and guide me through the course of repatriating ashes by ensuring all the appropriate processes were followed and the correct documents were obtained to finalise the transfer.
The whole family can’t thank you enough Brian, for going above and beyond your role. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Brian, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Would be very happy to recommend Haven Funeral Services.

Brian and the team were very compassionate. Nothing was too much for them and everything was explained to us very clearly.
Any questions we asked about were responded without a delay.
The whole team and Elaine from the funeral directors at Hayes treated my husband with respect and were so helpful and made all the arrangements less stressfull.

Brian at Haven went that extra mile to ensure my stepfather's funeral went smoothly. He sent emails and made regular phone calls to both myself and my mother (widow) to keep us informed and guided us through the whole process with sensitivity and kindness. He even helped design and have printed (on good quality card) the Order of Services and also arranged the purchase of our beautiful family flowers. I cannot fault the service we received from Haven in Long Lane Hillingdon and would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much.
