John Nodes Funeral Service

My wife and I came to the UK to be with her brother during his last days alive. We used the Cricklewood John Nodes Funeral Service. We paid Maria several visits, and she was extremely patient despite our seemingly never-ending questions. I cannot speak highly enough of the level of service she provided to us.
After my brother-in-law died, we phoned the John Nodes number very late at night, and they quickly brought up our file and arranged removal of his body.
The cremation ceremony itself was very professional and smooth. Maria arranged everything, including a minister. Thank you Maria, for making a stressful process as pain free as possible.

I found the staff at the Cricklewood branch very friendly and helpful, and always ready with a cup of tea. If I just wanted to have a chat, I was always made to feel welcome, and the funeral was exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend this branch, the staff there were professional, supportive and compassionate.

I would like to say Thank you ever so much (John Node's Cricklewood) for the service you provided whilst looking after our mum. From the very first call to the service you provided on the day of mum's funeral to even afterwards.
Very friendly, polite efficient and overall a pleasure to of had you to look after our mum. You honestly made it a beautiful service with all your help.

It has taken me a long time to write this as it was 21 months ago my youngest son died. The day we were told we could view him in the chapel it was 4 hours late - due to traffic! No apologies or explanations was my son in some car being hurled about or what ever as it took them 4 hours upon leaving the mortuary to get to Cricklewood. I was told to be patient. We only had a few hours to see him and the family were on tender hooks being told we could seem him from 10am - it was actually 2pm. As I said no explnations or consideration towards our feelings. Heart breaking and cruel. I would NOT recommend this funeral to the directors.

I would certainly recommend John Nodes, I contacted them prior to my mums passing, as it was expected. I spoke with Maria, she explained the process and said that they could be contacted 24/7.
Nina made all the funeral arrangements, including the flowers, music, the priest, the cremation, funeral cars and printing of the order of service and memorial cards. I spoke with her on a few occasions and she was very professional, caring, sympathetic and very easy to deal with.
On the day Samantha was the lead, again she was very easy to deal with, very professional, caring and sympathetic. She reassured us as a family. It made what was a very difficult day a bit easier.
I would definitely use them again.
