Heritage Funeral Directors

To those of you considering using Sikh Heritage Funeral Directors, please choose another organisation. This company is not part of any association or governing body which means they make their 'own rules' for the cost of a funeral right down to the funeral service. My mother's funeral was carried out on 13 April 22 by Raj and his team, and the whole funeral service was ill-managed. First if all, Raj was unable to produce a copy of the agreement that I signed on his first visit, and was also unable to provide me with receipts of any kind for when he asked for the remainder of the money on the day of my mum's funeral, that's right, he demanded I pay the remainder of the outstanding money on the day of my mum's funeral. He also completely missed a component of the funeral where by the hurse (containing my mum's coffin) was meant to have passed the Sikh Gurudwara on the way from my mum's residence to the Crematorium. All good reasons, (as I am sure you would agree) for my rating of 1/5 - I was unable to give Sikh Heritage 0/5. Please choose a funeral director that belongs to an association.

Hi, I was saddened to hear about the poor service provided by Sikh Heritage Funeral directors in Ilford. Shame on Raj and his team on letting the profession down on performing badly.
At a time of need, we all need good sound advice, guidance and support from professional personals, and clearly this hasn’t happened.
I would report this to the National Association of Funeral Directors or to any other organisation in the funeral care services.
Sikh Heritage Funeral Director is the front faces of the services and their is another company that they work with in the background.

What a drama!!! I have never in my life seen such an unprofessional firm of clowns. The funeral director was a joke, he was arrogant, unorganised, rude, embarrassing and lacked empathy. The whole experience was an episode of something you would see on Netflix and what should have been a sombre time for family and friends turned into a comedy show. These people really do not know how to do their jobs and unfortunately the deceased didn't have the farewell he deserved, the whole thing was a farse. I would NOT recommend this firm of funeral directors to anyone, my experience has left me sad, upset and very emotional

S H Funerals, have been very professional, they knew exactly what needed to be done in relation to our religious beliefs. On the Day all care was taken so that the family had the time and space they needed. Thank you for your time and effort in making a very difficult day go smoothly

It was very well service. We had two of our family funerals. One was my mother in law. during covid within one week it was very well arranged. Funeral director was very helpful and paid respect towards like his own mother.
