Lovely crematorium. Very well looked after. The chapel is small but well laid out. Wheelchair accessible. The grounds are lovely. My Dad's ashes are buried in one of the plots in the rose walk, which is beautifully laid out. The staff in the Memorial office are wonderful, Customer service excellent.

The Chapel and grounds are fine, but what about the state of the WC? It has an ancient toilet, no hot water and a door that is swollen so much it cannot be opened or shut properly. It needs to be thoroughly refurbished with new sanitaryware/tiling and plumbing.

Thank you for the hard work you are clearly doing at this most difficult of times. A couple of days ago I watched a funeral at your crematorium via a web link. The picture quality was poor, including dull lighting, and I could hardly hear what was being said at the lectern. I appreciate that broadcasting this type of event is a new requirement but with all the modern technology we can surely do better than this for a service that is precious. I recently watched a funeral being broadcast from Tasmania and the quality of video/sound was top class. You felt you were there.

You would think that in view of the covid restrictions allowing such a limited number of mourners that the crematorium would make more effort for the people who are unable to join the service. The screen was not working and apparently hasn't for some time. We were told we could use a app on our phones but the staff had no idea how or what we needed to download. Appalling service and very distressing not being able to participate

One of the most unhelpful "companies" I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. My father was sadly cremated here a few months ago. The funeral company we used was great. The after service from this crem however has been the most dire and distressing experience ever. They have been contacted numerous times to discuss scattering of the ashes. Nobody ever answers the phone or emails. When they do the "person who deals with this" is never in, or a new person is waiting to start, or that person is then off ill. They will only speak to one family member and nobody else. They always want to arrange a "meeting" as all they want to do is upsell over priced packages for plants, plaques etc. Their charges are horrendous, £100 to scatter ashes, £8k for a small plaque. 5 months on and we are still trying to arrange something as again "that person is off sick."

Really need someone there full time as it was looking a bit neglected last time my daughter visited the grave of a friend. I know money is tight so why not use community service people to clean it up. Needs trees around perimeter to protect grave flowers from strong winds too.
