Ginns & Gutteridge Funeral Directors

As you can see my younger sister has already posted about our experience with Ginns and Gutteridge.

I completely agree with everything she has said and I would never recommend using Ginns and Gutteridge even to my worst enemy.

Absolutely appalling service. My nan was buried in a plot where her daughter was already buried. We asked for a clean of the existing stonework and new engraving on the headstone. 2 years after my nan's passing the grave has still not been restored. The surround is not even level and they have lost a stone angel from the original grave. We are constantly having to chase them. Their customer service during your period of grieving is appalling. Avoid at all costs.

My Thanks to Ginns and Gutteridge and especially Helen who looked after us with care, compassion and patience and guided us through a most difficult time with the passing of Mum. The last great thing you can do for a loved one is the send off they would like and without doubt, Ginns and Gutteridge facilitated every part of the process with complete professionalism. On the morning of the funeral (December 9th 2019) I had complete confidence that all would go well. It did. My experience of Ginns and Gutteridge deserves 5 stars. Thank you again.

Very professional and caring staff who assisted with everything from the first contact to the funeral service. The company was not our choice but the deceased had purchased a funeral plan with them. The service provided was exceptional! We had a non religious service which was led by a member of staff from Ginns & Gutteridge. We have attended a funeral service run by another funeral director firm since we used Ginns & Gutteridge and the chapel service was not a patch on the one Ginns & Gutteridge delivered. Will certainly use this company of funeral directors again.
