After the recent passing of our Mother we didn't quite know where to start! It was when I gathered myself and looked at the bereavement booklet provided to me at the hospital that's when I took the next step to begin organising the funeral service she deserved. I asked other family and friends who they'd used in the past and then looked at a number of reviews online and the booklet.

It was Johnsons that appealed to me straight away from my initial call I spoke to Peter who was so kind and considerate. I instantly felt reassured we'd made the right decision. This was confirmed when we had our first meeting with Lyn to discuss the arrangements. Lyn's smile made us feel at ease right away, she was empathetic and sensitive to our needs particularly at such a distressing time.

Everything was explained clearly, nothing was an inconvenience to them. Lyn and Rolf kept in regular contact with us, which gave me great comfort to feel like they had taken great care of looking after our Mum. The family were in full agreement at their remarkably professional service. They respected our wishes from the very beginning.

Johnsons made provisions for the care of Mum from the hospital to the chapel of rest, the vehicles, floral tributes, donations, order of service and more.

They gave the family the time to pay their respects to Mum at their chapel out of hours, if required. This was of great relief. My family and I are so thankful for the help and support from Lyn, Rolf and all the team at H Johnsons and Sons Funeral.

They made one of the most distressing occasions in our lives much easier to cope with and we are extremely grateful.

From the outset H. Johnson and Sons were professional, helpful and easy to talk with. The funeral plan was followed exactly as my wife wanted and they ensured I was kept informed every step of the way. They could not have done more and the day went smoothly.
