We cannot recommend Markham Funeral Service highly enough, from the 1st call we made to them. Andrew and Nikki made us feel like we had made the very best decision for our dear Mum and us as a family. The love and care they showed us and the love and care they gave to our dear mum has meant the world to us. Throughout this sad ordeal both Andrew and Nikki, have helped and guided us immensely, we would of been totally lost without them, and the day we laid our mum to rest, went perfectly and so well undertaken and exactly what we wanted.
We as a family cannot thank them enough.

We cannot praise Andrew and Nikki highly enough for their kindness and compassion in the saddest of circumstances. From the moment we made the first phone call (on Sunday when everyone else seems to be closed) Andrew gently lead us through everything. His approach was perfect with help and guidance and a simple "leave it with me" message meaning that Markham's were on hand to relieve the pressure whenever needed. Our initial hesitation over the address on Google being "Unit 2" was quickly overcome as their location is a lovely converted barn, so don't be put off by this. We found Markham's because others had taken the time to leave reviews at a difficult time and we hope this will help someone else find Markham's too.

Thank you for all your support from day one to mums final journey yesterday, you are both amazing caring people , you showed all of us compassion in our darkest days something my dad cindy and myself and extended family will never ever forget.

You did your job but made us feel like you only had us to care for in helping with the countless legal affairs and reassuring us that mum was looked after with such caring ways, yesterday was our darkest day ever in our lives but you both supported us with great compassion and made sure all our needs were met

You are people who we never want to have to deal with but having you both by our sides on the telephone or simply to come and talk to made the unbearable more bearable yesterday

I couldn’t recommend Andrew and Nikki more highly.
I have sadly dealt with quite a few funeral directors and MARKHAM are superior in every way.
The service and empathy was second to none from my first telephone call to the delivery of the memory cards after the funeral.
Andrew and Nikki are not morose but friendly and supportive. The team was nothing but professional from start to finish.
I would recommend asking Andrew about when he pages the car. This added such a special touch to the day.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Nikki and Andrew Markham for not only organising everything with my mothers funeral but also their incredible empathy, kindness and personal approach.
We had no idea what to do as it was unexpected and they guided and advised me and put everything in place so we could give my mum a very special ceremony, there is no way I could have done this without them, my mum would have been so proud, they made sure every detail was personal, from the guard of honour of collie dogs, the service, the lovely funeral celebrant who spoke and small details like mums shepherds crook on the coffin, it was all absolutely beautiful and poignant.

Thank you again Nikki and Andrew for not only your support then but for your continued support now, you are unbelievably kind and so caring and thoughtful.

We cannot thank you enough for the compassion, care and efficiency you all showed as we said goodbye to Tony. It meant an enormous amount to be able to rely on you to do things right at such a stressful time, but we felt you went over and above in all our dealings, from the kind and attentive way you helped us plan the funeral, to the touching respect you all showed to Tony on the day.

My Mother left very specific wishes for herself after her death and with the tenacity, care and attention to detail we were able to grant her wishes.
