We lost our Dad to Covid-19 in late October 2020 just at the beginning of the second national lockdown. We engaged Roy Quinton Funeral Directors to take care of Dad and all of the funeral arrangements.
Jill, our contact person, was excellent. Her empathy and understanding of our needs and wishes were very comforting. Her efficiency and communication skills ensured all went smoothly.
Scott, who directed the events on the day of the funeral and Tony, the Celebrant, were also first class.

I have never before had to arrange a funeral, and was very daunted at the prospect of arranging my mother's. However David, from Roy Quinton, who I dealt with throughout, made the process as painless as it could possibly be.

Things that I needed were anticipated before I even realised that I needed them. I felt that I was dealing with a close friend. David went above and beyond by designing the order of service himself, when none of the stock designs really fitted what I wanted.

On the day of the funeral Scott was comforting and helpful, guiding us through what was happening, and what would happen next. We were able to focus on my mother's memory, knowing that everything else was safely in hand.

Having to arrange a funeral, whilst struggling with grief can be a very daunting task, but I couldn't recommend Roy Quinton Funerals highly enough. David Evans is probably the most personable and empathetic person I have ever met, in our eyes he went above and beyond to make the process as stress free as possible offering advice on things we hadn't even thought of, designing a bespoke order of service to make things special for my Dad, and tracking down an obscure piece of music we specifically wanted for the service.

He kept me informed every step of the way and explained everything slowly and in detail as at a time like this nothing really sinks in.
