Mandy, Geoff and team at G & M Gould directed my fathers funeral in January 2019 and from the very first meeting, they made us feel completely comfortable and at ease at what was a very difficult time. The service they provide is nothing short of exceptional. They empowered us to make our own decisions so we could carry out my fathers wishes, but at the same time were there to provide support and guidance in some of the more difficult decisions. Everything from start to finish was conducted in a very professional manner but also with a very personal touch. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending them.

Geoff , Mandy and all the team at G & M Gould are nothing but exceptional. Having seen the way they dealt with a close friends funeral in 2018 they were the natural choice when it came to dealing with our Mothers funeral this year. Both Geoff and Mandy treat you in such a personal way they make such a sad situation so much easier to deal with. Both in the lead up to the day and during the whole day itself they take care of every detail allowing you to focus on your loved ones, both past and present.

Empathic, compassionate, considerate, flexible and professional. We have received the best service we could have wished for to conduct a Military Honour Guard for our dearly parted father. Thank you Geoff, Mandy, Dan and the team for making his passing more easier to understand and accept.

I would not hesitate to recommend Goolds. My Dad died early October and to be honest, we had not idea what happened next. They handled us with extreme sensitivity and nothing was too much trouble. We used G&M Goold 3 years ago for my Fathers funeral and the service was exemplary. So it made perfect sense to use them again for my Mothers funeral service. This time we also experienced the same levels excellence from Deborah, Roy and team who showed empathy and professionalism from the beginning. From the moment I walked in the staff made me feel cared for and comfortable, I’ve never had to go to a funeral directors before and the death of my husband was very sudden so I was in shock and completely overwhelmed. There is nothing that is too much for the staff they are incredible and they looked after my husband with such care, respect and dignity. They helped my young children when they had questions. I cannot fault them.. they genuinely care! If you are in this awful situation I highly recommend them. They will support and guide you through everything.

For the past 6 years Dan at Goolds has looked after 3 of our loved ones who passed away. We cannot praise him enough for all the kindness and care he has shown to the Cartwright family, most recently when our much loved dad passed away. He’s very professional in his role but has so much compassion, care and empathy for everyone.
We would highly recommend Dan and his team to care for your loved ones on their final journey.

At Goold's, I was greeted by Roy. He was smartly dressed, welcoming, and understanding. He gave me brochures and a price list, so I could discuss this when I was ready.
Over the following days, I communicated with Roy and Debbie. It was always nice to speak to them, and nothing was too much trouble. Debbie really listened, and took action.
At the funeral itself, the firm demonstrated absolute competency. We always felt like we were in good hands.
