A long-established firm now part of the Dignity group. Their service with my father's funeral was caring and professional, hard to fault.

I really cannot fault Blake and Horlock at all. They go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that the funeral process is as easy as possible. They arranged my Nan’s funeral at a time where I felt a bit lost on how to do things and they literally led me through it all in the most uncomplicated and heartfelt way. The whole team are so friendly, patient, professional and made sure that the day was stress-free and seamless.
From their suggestions of a celebrant (which was perfect) to the arrangements of flowers, order of services, photo tribute etc- they got it all spot on.
If you want a funeral directors that truly care, these are your people.

I cannot praise Dee and the team enough. I feel the support I got was over and above what might be expected. Dee is an amazing lady, she made me feel cared about and made a very difficult task easy for me. She checked in on me up to the day of the funeral and kept me informed on all that was going on, her choice of celebrant (Gary who was wonderful) was picked to suit our family. These things all made me feel so relieved and made the stress of the situation so much less. I feel I could ring Dee for a chat if i needed to even though the funeral is now done. I can't thank her enough.

I can honestly say I am disgusted by these leeches. They are definitely very much in for squeezing every penny that they can out of vulnerable people and made the process very stressful. The service was lovely and the only time we had been shown any genuine concern, but go elsewhere if you have any respect for yourself and your loved ones.

Dee was so compassionate when dealing with us and looking after my late mother before her funeral. We were very happy with the all the staff on the day of the funeral and their attention to detail was outstanding. We would also like to add our thank to Ian the Celebrant.
