Gordon Barber’s provided an exceptional service. They were kind, personal and professional. We were sensitively supported from the moment we called the day my husband died and that continued throughout by all members of staff we encountered. Special thanks to Michele for her excellent care and kindness in making the arrangements and helping us through all the decisions that have to be taken at such a difficult time. Our heartfelt thanks and gratitude goes to all at Gordon Barbers funeral home for the dignified and caring way you handled our mothers funeral arrangements on Oct1, 2020. I live in the USA and couldn’t come to the funeral but they very nicely streamed the service so I could “attend” .My siblings and I are eternally grateful for the way everything was handled. Mum deserved the best in going to her final resting place and Gordon Barber saw that it was exactly what she got! Just want to also say the Memory Book of the service and photos of the flowers and cards I received today was a wonderful !

Gordon Barber provided an excellent service to our family at this difficult time. All aspects were explained and provided to our exact requirements. All members of staff including celebrant Colin Thomas were caring and extremely professional in their roles. We gave my Father a lovely funeral and I would highly recommend Gordon Barber to help everyone in their role as undertakers.

Our son passed away unexpectedly in hospital at only 28yrs of age and we wanted a service appropriate to him as an individual.
Louise instinctively understood our wishes and arranged exactly the right celebrant to ensure that on the day we had the service we wanted and that was perfect for our son. I know the service will stay with us and all of the huge number of family and friends that attended for ever and help us in our grief.
On a practical note every request we made was attended to promptly and courteously, there was never any attempt to sell us products or services we did not need or want and there was not the slightest hiccup on the day itself.

Gordon Barber’s (St Williams, Norwich) provided us with an exceptional service from beginning to end. We felt a constant warmth from them along with such an individual experience to us. We cried and giggled with them. Meeting Ursula changed my life. She opened my eyes to how people can feel all different things at times of loss. She is senior in her role but was present every time we visited and even voluntarily offered to photocopy a lovely quote that my Brother spotted which really moved him. All the team are truly magical people with wonderful hearts.

We’ve used Gordon Barber twice before and now a third time for conducting the funeral of my late mother. Again they went above and beyond the anticipated service we’ve come to expect from them.
From the outset to completion everybody conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism, empathy and understanding which helped ease the burden at a difficult time.
