Mum's funeral arrangements were handled very professionally and with empathy. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt that mum was in good hands. The day went smoothly and was as stress free as it could have been. I was helped through the whole process and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shires. The whole team was very professional. The tea and chats were a welcome bonus.

Donna and Kate were amazing throughout an incredibly difficult time. They took us through the whole process with such care and did so much to ensure that our loved one got the send off that they deserved.

This is not the kind of service one requires everyday but on the passing of my wife in February, we were left with the decision of who to choose to handle the funeral arrangements. Shires were compassionate and professional from the first contact I made with them, a few days before my mother died. From then on the Baldock office made everything easy and clear as to options, and went out of their way to meet our wishes and book a time for the funeral which allowed family members to attend.
