Letchworth Funeralcare

It seems odd to be reviewing a funeral director, but the other review on here is so far from my own experience it seems unfair.

I had to organise my dad's funeral and he was explicit about it not costing the earth (he'd had to organise enough funerals in his life). Suzanne and Hayley in the office treated us in a very friendly, down to earth way and helped us to organise a really personal and dignified send off for my dad and were always transparent about cost and keeping us on track. They were at the end of the phone whenever we needed anything.

On the day itself our appointed director was Mark - who introduced himself, made sure he was there to lean on or ask for any help we needed to get through it. He was thoroughly professional and compassionate throughout the day and we really appreciated his help. I honestly have him to thank for getting us through the day.

In the nicest way - I am hoping to not need to use their services again, but I can definitely recommend them if you are looking foor a friendly but professional approach and transparency and respect for cost and your loved ones wishes.

My mother was cremated last week in the 'woody' way, leopard print, and a little theatre. Harry and his team were superb and looked the part with leopard print ties and leopard print around his top hat.
My point being they will tailor your service to meet your needs......wonderful remembrance..well done...Harry and team you got it so right.
