The service, professionalism and attention to detail we received from Vanessa and her colleagues at Cooperative Funeral Care, Long Eaton was excellent. At such a highly emotional time following the sudden passing of my father - Vanessa made everything seem effortless and nothing was too much trouble. My father was not a religious person and we’d heard about ‘Celebrants’ taking the service instead of a priest or vicar - Vanessa told us about a most marvellous lady named Sarah Willis and organised everything for us.
We received numerous positive comments from family and friends at Bramcote Crematorium regarding the whole service and how beautifully it was conducted.

Thank you so much for making such a sad day a very proud one; even though Mum had a pre-arranged funeral plan the help we received in dealing with all the arrangements was 100% Customer Service. Thank you for looking after my mum in law , lovely people just when you need them

It was awful from start to finish. There was no kindness shown to us. We were already distraught. Mum wanted a direct cremation and when asked if we could come to see mum we were told NO, that wasn’t part of the package. Mum was laying there for 3 weeks and we couldn’t go anywhere near. The woman who looked after us initially had just got over Covid and we were worried she may not be clear. It would have been better if she hadn’t shared that information. During our initial meeting with her she was coughing and sneezing and ended up being covered in her own mucous. It was vile. Mum wanted us to use the co op as she thought they were ethical. We were never met with a empathy and caring and kindness. It was a horrible experience and glad my mum wasn’t there to see it. We won’t be going back
