Ballard and Shortall have been exemplary from my very first phone call with Nicky. I had to opt for a direction cremation which they allowed me to watch from the safety of my husbands car. They don’t usually do this but made an exception in the current Climate. They were very respectful and professional and walked in front of the hearse for the first few yards from their offices. I was very impressed. They dealt with my fathers funeral in 2011 so hence my returning to them. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending their services should the unfortunate need arise. I will tell my friends colleagues and family of their exceptional service.

From the moment you walk through the door, and are greeted, by either Nicki or Manjit you know you will be in safe hands. Nicki guides you through the most difficult of times when planning your loved ones funeral, you are never rushed, you are given the support, and time you need. Once the difficult task of arranging the funeral is done, you can finally rest in the knowledge that the pressure is taken off you, and can be assured your loved one will be taken care of, and the day will go without a hitch. Paul is just amazing he is there for you on the day, he will talk you through every step and will accommodate your wishes. Ballard & Shortall in Crawley, conduct themselves in the most professional of ways, at all times, they took care of both my Mum & Dad over the last 18 months and I will be forever grateful. From my first point of contact with Clare prior to my mums passing I cannot fault the service we have received from Ballard and Shorthall. Nicki was fantastic and made a difficult time feel so much easier, her knowledge provided very much needed reassurance and made us all feel at ease. Everyone we came into contact with during this process, from collecting my mum, to being at the graveside were compassionate and friendly and the communication was second to none.
Paul was amazing on the day of the funeral and guided me through one of the toughest days of my life and for that I cannot thank him enough!
Ballard and Shorthall also provided their services for my nan who passed away 13 years ago and the service from them at that time was also faultless.
