At a difficult time their calm manner, sensible advice and depth of experience made it easy to organise my mother's funeral. What to do, what had to be registered and what choices to make were carefully explained. They managed the service with care, attention to detail and professionally. I will use their services again even if I can't say I'll be happy to do so.

Our experience was very different to those in the other reviews. On the day, everything was fine, but the 3 weeks leading up to the funeral were appalling. There were communication errors all the way through that period. For example, they gave us incorrect information about where Mum's body was... In fact at one point, they weren't even sure whether she was still at the hospital or on their premises. There were other issues, too numerous to list here. They were insensitive in their dealings with us and I would never recommend them to anyone. I wrote a letter of complaint where they made lame excuses for all their errors. Some of my complaints were not addressed fully or were misunderstood.

The below comment from me was added in response to the funeral directors' response.

I am the daughter of the deceased. We instructed you as a family. We were all unhappy with your service. I was elected the spokesperson. If I'm not the client, who is?

My Fathers funeral was attended to in a very satisfactory manner. The feedback from all of our guests talked of care, sensitivity and quiet professionalism - well done all involved!
