Dale Hill Natural Burials

To find this natural burial site you enter at the side of the Bartlewood Lodge restaurant. Proceed through a gate, well sign posted, into a large car park. From here go through another gate into the burial area where you will see the graves marked by newly planted trees. It is a nice rural spot looking across open fields and meadows. The gravel path is well maintained and there is a seat for paying your respects to those who have past

We choose Dale Hill Natural Burial ground as the final resting place for our beloved Mother who passed away on 23rd Nov 2019. Reserving a plot and arrangements for the funeral were handled with great care and attention by the team. It's a peaceful setting in lovely countryside with far reaching views. I visit often and in years to come the trees you can select for a grave will transform the landscape.

Simply a beautiful setting. The scenery and surroundings are so peaceful and comforting. There is plenty of privacy and space to express your feelings. Thank you to all the team who are always helpful, friendly and take pride in the grounds.

We had chosen this site several years ago when it was first opened for a friend who had MS. When he passed this year Locko Park Estates could not have been more helpful. Not only did they support us in choosing the perfect spot, which will one day be a beautiful bluebell wood, their efforts on the day, in conjunction with the Co-op Funeral Homes in Chaddesden created the kind of goodbye we wanted for our friend. The site itself is a wonderful final resting place - peaceful, natural and beautiful and somewhere lovely to go to visit those that are gone. If you are looking for a natural burial ground I would definitely choose Dale Hill.

From start to the burial of the ashes the Locko Park Estate were very helpful, a first class service, very helpful

Beautiful setting, a peaceful and open space to lay loved ones to rest. So lovely to visit through all seasons and pay respects to those buried here. Staff were amazing and accommodating when laying my son to rest. Couldn't have asked for better.
