Dwell

While buying a couch we were EXPLICITLY told the delivery would include assembly (Hence the ridiculous delivery charge).

The delivery men thus dropped it off on Tuesday without my partner being home and I am now left alone with parts of couch everywhere with a small child in the house.

We were told that the delivery guys no longer put couches together (and haven’t for some time).

Absolutely ridiculous that we have been lied to like this.

Would not recommend buying from here - bunch of sales people who will rattle off rubbish so you buy rather than being honest (ie normal).

I went to the Watford branch yesterday to buy a sideboard, we are really happy with the product and the service from Paulo the sales assistant, he was very friendly polite and helpful. We will certainly be returning to Dwell in Watford when our house needs new furniture.

Good selection of furniture, polite, patient staff showing great customer service. Pleased with our purchase and and lead up.

Interesting store that has some unusual bits of furniture

Maybe it's a Dwell thing or maybe it's just me - visited both this store and the Brent Cross one within an hour, and both times the staff didn't even make eye contact. We tried asking the guy here a question - he kind of gave us a brief gesture of an answer, after telling us he just wanted to finish doing something on the computer.

Fifteen minutes was enough, what we saw wasn't quite what we were after and they didn't try to bridge the small gap to a possible sale.
