Very poor customer service. Entered this shop to be served by a gentleman who initially seemed helpful enough. When asking for more information about a particular sofa and for the details to be written down, the gentleman was very rude and said 'well you know the name what more do you need to know?' In response I asked who the sofa was manufactured by and his response was 'I don't provide the details of the manufacturer' in a very rude tone. What a ridiculous thing to say. Why would anyone pay over £1000 for a sofa when they're not told who it's made by to look into reviews and the quality of the manufacturer.

While visiting my mum, we went here to look for a new Sofa for her, great service from 2 older men mike and fred they went through the options and sizes with my mum so helpful, she ordered herself a new Sherbourne sofa and chair. wasn't to they were placing the order I realised id ordered from the Dartford branch great service all round Big thankyou

Wow, what a result! My elderly mother bought an electric reclining chair from Furniture World, Hythe in March 2017. Recently it stopped working (or so we thought) but unable to find the receipt we could not contact the manufacturer to claim on the warranty, of which there were 18 months remaining.

So I visited the store, now renamed Castons, and spoke to the new manager Sean who couldn't have been more helpful. He tried to locate the original bill of sale but with the changeover in the management he was unable to locate the correct ledger from three years ago. Nevertheless he offered to send round one of his delivery men to check out the chair and, bingo! Suffice it to say that the chair wasn't faulty, there was an element of user error and the inadvertent switching off of a spur switch to the electricity supply. Job done, and with a smile and no charge. Now THAT'S service! I can't speak highly enough of Sean's input with this matter.

We visited Castons Hythe a couple of weeks ago as we were looking for a new bed. We have always used large retail stores in the past but wanted to search locally. We were greeted by Michael who gave us the time and opportunity to look around the store and lie on the beds. He was on hand to give us advice and we eventually chose a complete divan and headboard. There was such a good selection of fabric and colours to choose from. We took delivery earlier than expected and the 2 delivery men assembled the bed for us. We are absolutely delighted with our new bed and the outstanding service we have received from Castons which has exceeded our expectations, we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Would definitely recommend a visit and great to be able to support a local business. Thank you.

Visited this lovely shop with my Mum who was looking for a new bed. Wonderful service, helping my mother choose the perfect (British made) bed, mattress and headboard. I was impressed by the quality and the price. The bed was delivered two weeks later, as promised. My Mum is sleeping better than she has for years! I liked the other furniture in the showroom. Highly recommend.

I love this place I also love to shop locally the staff were absolutely amazing helpful friendly happy very professional polite the place was spotlessly clean the two delivery men went above and beyond very friendly so so helpful moving stuff for me that is not their job can not thank them enough would definitely go here again

Refreshing to see a store with modern and traditional furniture. As I have a cottage i have looking for a more compact traditional sofa and 2 chairs . The sherborne ranges fitted my needs perfectly with a great range of colour and sizes . Michael was so helpful
