We had a 3 seater Sephy sofa delivered 2 weeks ago. Before the wrapping was fully removed we could tell that part of the seat back was badly upholstered (baggy in two panels and pleated where it should be tight). We immediately reported it & sent photos. Customer Services said it could be sorted but they apparently have to wait for management and an upholsterer to look at the photos etc, which they are clearly not bothering to do. Meanwhile we have a large sofa we don't want in our sitting room.... Very angry and p'd off and no sign of a resolution!!!

Staff are AMAZING, so knowledgeable and they go above and beyond to provide the best service. I am super grateful for the top quality customer service (Asif, Genevieve and Josie who I spoke to were brilliant, attentive, helpful and armed with information on all the products, a willingness to help. Also such lovely people). For the whole process of trying in the store, deciding, buying and aftercare the Islington staff have been a joy to deal with. I would 100% buy from them again and undoubtedly recommend to others. The sofa and armchair are totally beautiful, very stylish and comfortable. They're the best sofas, I'm delighted with them. 10/10 across the board for Arlo and Jacob islington.

We've had a terrible time with this company. We bought a sofa from their shop near Upper Street. The sofa was lovely and comfortable in the shop. However, the one that was delivered was horribly faulty. Parts of the frame were broken, two of the seats were sunken in, and the cushions were deflated. We've contacted their customer care team five times to try to get Arlo and Jacob to fix this, but haven't yet had a response and keep having to chase them. I'd avoid at all costs - they charge high prices for exceptionally poor quality products and terrible customer service

There should be an option on Google for a zero rating, avoiding a false sense of above terrible products and customer service. We spent a few thousand pounds on this company's furniture a few years ago and it has not worn at all well. I contacted them recently to ask if some items could be repaired. Took over an hour just to get through to someone. They said they'd get back to me but didn't. I'm happy to pay for repairs given time lapsed since purchasing but if I owned this company, embarrassment might get the better of me and I'd just repair for free. Finally heard back on my multiple voice messages and emails to be told that because I'd bought them from the pre-bankrupt version of A&J that the products were basically nothing to do with them any more. So no repair service either, even at a cost. Absolute joke, over-priced and awful customer service. Spend your money elsewhere.

Purchased a sofa from their store near Angel, sales person was rather slow & unsure of what the process was but put it down to them maybe being new, however this may have been the first red flag as we've had a terrible time since

Although the sofa was great & comfortable in the store, the one that was delivered did not provide the same experience; with clunking noises coming from the base of one section, sunken central block and a number of seat cushions deflated after only a few weeks.

Have made several attempts to contact Arlo and Jacob to discuss these issues but with now response so far - even after much chasing! Their
Customer service shockingly terrible.

You would expect better quality for the high cost of their products!

Avoid at all costs especially if you want a hassle free, longer lasting sofa.

Great marketing and in-store service BUT where is my order?!? I reached out to the Managing Director & Customer Service team & all have gone silent! After reading other Tweets / Google reviews, i’m not alone. I was proud to support a small, local retailer but I’m losing faith in this one..😱

Had a great experience in here yesterday. Gabriel helped us pick couches and help us lay out multiple fabrics and colours. Made the entire experience stress free and fun. Would highly recommend her services.

Asif and Genevieve were both fantastic. They were really patient and super helpful, giving me lots of great advice and going above and beyond to make sure I ordered the right sofa. I'm really happy with my choice, just wish I had a bigger house to order more! The store itself also made for a lovely experience too - it was immaculately kept and had an area for children to play as well as really large samples to get a proper impression of the various fabrics which was useful.
