Avoid this store if you are intellegent. bought a dining set. they sent defective chair. replacement chairs were again defective. color of chair were mismatched.
Delivery guy refused to assembled the furniture even though it was included in the cost . when I called up the store, sales person said i will get back and never did !

Staff - rude. Only interested in next sale and hitting targets. My wife and I even heard a conversation between members of staff moaning about how few sales they had done in a day. One member of staff moaned to us that another member of staff wouldn't serve us as it wouldn't represent a sale for him! Absolutely astounded at how bad this company is.
Not interested in any kind of service. I had to fight for a refund on faulty goods - took weeks. Kept on being told that only the manager could help but that he was away for 3 weeks and no-one else could deal with my situation. When I challenged this, the response was 'if we are trading 7 days a week, you cannot expect the manager to be here at all times.' Errrrrrrrrrrrr don't most retail outlets have more than one manager to cover the trading hours or assistant managers????????? OMG!!!!! And for 3 weeks!!!!!!!
Appalling in all areas. Ignore me at your own cost.

I pride my self in giving fair in put in to Google maps and when I say that Harveys is just the worst..

just wow....

I payed up front for a sofa and it's been 10 weeks and I have nothing with no time frame given on when I will get my item...

after losing a day staying in all day for the item. my advice is don't order any thing from them......

but if you have contact the furniture obidsman and get them to talk to them first before going to small clames court...

they will sort out compensation and Harveys is a member of this obidsman....

Reasonably well priced acceptable sofas. Helpful sales until you are signed up and then indifferent. Extended warranty not worth the money, if there is a problem you have to pay for an assessment before any claim will be considered. There was a problem with upholstery that was not covered because it was 3 days, which included Christmas, outside the 12 months period. An officious sounding person explained that the company only has to offer 6 months warranty but company "goodwill" extends it to 12 months. I will not be shopping here.again and would not recommend the company.

Extremely disappointed with our experience with Harveys. We purchased a 3 and 2 piece sofa. Paid extra for a weekend delivery for them to send 2 different colors (one correct). We have been chasing then for over a week, spend untold hours on the phone on hold going through various departments for them to still not know where my sofa is! We are still waiting for our sofa and i'm not confident i will receive this before Christmas! i'm not sure how you miss place a sofa but they made it happen..the worrying part is the sofa which was the wrong color the driver said we can use this until we get our one...which is very concerning if this is someone else's sofa and they're offering it to me temporarily. Not impressed! i wouldn't use Harvey's again!

Should have listened to previous reviews: Purchased sofas just after Christmas (not boxing day sale itens) Delivery was supposed to be UP to 12 weeks ( 3 months)... It’s now the 1st of May, 3 delivery cancelations from Harveys saying they don’t know where the item is.
We had 2 birthday parties plus Easter party with no sofa and now (5 months later) cancelled the purchase. They have 14 days to return money to my card. Let’s hope their costumer services are capable of a better job then delivery’s team.
Also, had purchased a £290 rug to match the sofa ( delivered promptly and still on it’s package waiting for the sofa). Harveys will not accept return saying it’s on their T&C’s.
Be aware.
*Editing to add: Costumer services cocky male call you to process your refund yet treating you like a nuisance. You ask for then to read out what is being refunded ( I was concerned about the after care purchased with the sofas) and they actually have the cheeks to tell you: _” I have another 17 call to go through and I am wasting my time here! You are not even a Harveys costumer anymore!” So you answer: “ Of course I am a Harveys costumer still. Didn’t you just phone me to process my refund? So, until I receive my refund in full I am still a Harveys costumer; and an unhappy one!”... Outrageously they reply: _“Well, I’ve just cancelled your order so, you’re not a costumer!” Worst experience ever!!!
I did receive my refund in form of a cheque on the post, still wonder how this company is still in business...

I would hit the character limit if I had to list the issues we experienced when buying a sofa.

Just avoid this place and don't even go in if they are give things away!!

Not one positive thing to say about Haveys.

I've just had a conversation with Harveys customer service advisor who I found to be the rudest person I've ever dealt with. The advisor was shouting at me several times and refused to listen to my side. Also he refused to even pass on the call to a colleague or a senior advisor despite several  requests. He had the most unprofessional attitude and threatened me several times to terminate the call.
