Initially a mixed experience, staff ranged from almost oblivious to alert and helpful.
Finally asked by Kerry if we needed some help as we were looking for someone to assist us. She was a great salesperson, never giving the impression that she was selling to us but rather she was attentive and informative.
She was able to provide us with all the information we needed and then provided a hot drink and cookies whilst made our decisions.
As a result we walked away feeling that we had a good quality product at a good price.
Delivery time is excessive, currently 3 months, but for the right product it is worth the wait.
Interest-free credit took the sting out of buying more than we were shopping for - as well as the fact that delivery = having the furniture installed in our room and packing removed.
Would not hesitate to return for furniture in the future - and would certainly ask for Kerry to assist. Her knowledge, experience and good nature made the purchase a pleasant experience.
As to the actual quality of the furniture... excellent for the price but we await final delivery to verify what we receive is as good as what we saw in the showroom.

Very polite and knowledgeable staff. The furniture is good value for money, and the sofa that we bought was the most comfortable that we had sat in compared with all the other shops that we'd visited. The sales assistant that served us, Kerry, wasn't pushy at all, and knew the product, rather than having to check on her computer.

Post-sale customer service has been truly shocking. The store has been impossible to reach - no one answers the store phone, they do not return answerphone messages, nor will send any emails confirming what is being actioned.

We had a sofa set on hold whilst we moved into a new house. Since moving in we realise the sofas will not fit, so trying to amend the order and cancel several items. There is zero urge from them to help at all, and I am being met with silence.

Very unfortunate experience, from which I expected better.

Excellent service, staff Sean is extremely helpful. The sofa arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected. The delivery staff is also excellent in service and well communicated with us. The sofa looks gorgeous and everything works perfectly well

Not one to leave reviews, but this was some of the worst customer service I have ever received and I'm still no closer to getting the item I wanted to purchase, complete incompetence from the sales assistant, floor manager, and assistant store manager

Been a long time customer of furniture village having purchased at least two sets of sofas from this store in particular since 2013 and have even encouraged family members to shop there to purchase items which I'll no longer be doing.

Went in on the 30th of September to purchase a bed as I knew the quality and the standards I'd experienced were very high as I had no previous issues and was in need of a new bed

Long story short it's now 25 days later and I'm no closer to getting a bed all I keep getting is false hopes and prays which has left me scratching my head utterly confused

Staff members know who they are not gonna disrespect by naming even though I probably should

We were served by Shanta during our visit and she wowed us with 5* treatment. She was caring, patient and knowledgeable of the different types of sofas available. Shanta was keen to learn what it was we were looking for in a sofa and helped us find the right one. She wasn't pushy at all, allowing us time to make the right decision. I have ordered a sofa with very clear agreement on a delivery date yesterday (1 to 2 weeks max). I was supposed to receive a call from the delivery department today. Instead, I got a message informing me of a 6 weeks delivery time!! Impossible to reply the email and no one answer the phone. That is just not a way to do business. Never again.

Furniture Village has a beautiful range of good quality furniture.
The store is big and very spacious the furniture display nicely to give you an ideal.
The prices are reasonable.
The staff are very helpful and friendly not pushy at all.
COVID restrictions are in place.
Worth a visit.
