Having just bought a brand new house, my husband and I had been looking everywhere for a nice dining set and matching living room furniture for both the kitchen and for our dining/living room. We came across Oak Furniture Superstore and were really pleased with the choice of furniture available, especially with the amount of different dining and living room pieces required.

We anxiously waited for our delivery to all come in to stock and got a courtesy call from the customer service team when they said they would, advising all was now available and that we'd be contacted by the specialist team to arrange a suitable date. We got a courteous call from the specialist delivery team on Tuesday to book delivery for Saturday, and they called an hour beforehand, were very prompt and were extremely polite. They looked after our furniture, wore shoe bags, assembled everything and took rubbish away!

We are absolutely over the moon with our kitchen dining set, our dining room set and the occasional and living room furniture we bought, which matches perfectly and fits in around the sofa's we have.

The quality of the furniture is Fantastic and has already been complimented on by family and friends.

We would never hesitate to recommend Oak Furniture Superstore to friends and family as the quality, service, and price speaks volumes!

Where to start... opened the table first and there was bits of fabric stapled to it randomly and staples sticking out underneath the table. I contacted them to complain and they told me that this was standard practice and I should just remove the staples myself. I was given a small refund because of this. Then I opened the bench. There was a manufacturing error so one of the legs had a hole in the wrong place. oh and the table was damaged on the corner but by this point I have wasted enough of my life on the phone to them to bother to complain about this. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from this company.

It's a well made beautiful dinner set. However when assembling table leg the markings on a table top were out of centre and there were multiple scratch marks and chips on both table and chairs.
I would like to add to this review that after 4 months use of oak table set with chairs we have noticed cracks and chips on the frame of chairs and legs. This is not because of ware and tear but poor design and structure of these chair.
Although I wasn't happy with the quality of dining set I have to acknowledge excellent customer service. It was very easy to communicate with OFS, they have responded promptly to my enquiries before and after purchase and made an effort to call me to find out more about the review I have posted and why I wasn't happy with the product. I have now received a full refund including shipping cost. I am not sure if quality of dining set I bought was one off therefore I din't want to risk a replacement. However if you like what you see and buy from OFS you can rest assured their customer service team will look after you.

Really pleased with my dining set. It's very modern and looks amazing in our dining area. I have to say, for the price we didn't expect the table and chairs to be such great quality and I would definitely recommend the Juniper table set with Cavello Chairs to anyone looking for something a bit modern.

Found a very nice looking dining table and chair set on Oak Furniture Superstore, advertised as 'solid wood with a lacquer finish'. The order process was simple, booked delivery and was eagerly awaiting the day.

On arrival, the table box had a corner of the packaging completely missing, you could see the table without having to open to box, the table had a huge chunk missing because of this. Opened the box to find more damage and what's more, this is NOT solid wood at all. If you go to hidden description of the table it says Ash Vaneer egineered wood which is not solid wood.

One of the chair legs was also marked badly and the bench had parts of the laminate top (not solid wood with lacquer finish!) flaking off, extremely bad finish, almost like these are returns being sold as new.

I spoke to the team and not so much as an apology, just advised take everything out the boxes, take photos of any damage, send to us and we will book a day to excahnge, pain in the back side but I did it anyway.

So a week later (massive boxes over taking our kitchen and no dining table to use), the exchange comes, the table is yet again DAMAGED! bench had a mark on it and the table legs were exchanged for table legs with more damage than the original, rang up to advise and got told to do the same thing again.

I have cancelled the order with a full refund, the boxes are still in my kitchen taking up massive space waiting to be collected this Thursday, a total of two weeks with no dining table and kitchen space limited. Moreover, this is the sheer time it has taken to do all of the above, very unprofessional and the finish on the items is just sub-par, they use Octagon Furniture who mass produce these items for several companies including Argos.

The only saving grace to this is the chap I spoke to at the end called Curtis was great and offered to do as much as he could to help, unfortunately we chose to cancel as we cannot take the chance of the same thing happening again, already took time off work twice to take delivery.

I placed an order in January 2022 for various items of oak furniture. The furniture, received in June 2022, was of a very poor quality/finish. In addition, it was defective (cracked and chipped surfaces, gaps in the joins etc.). I have spent over £500.00 and have been trying to return the furniture for a full refund for the past two weeks and it has yet to be collected (now July 2022). NB: All furniture has to be returned in the original packaging so this is taking up a lot of space in my home.

I have spent a huge amount of time calling and emailing Customer Services for updates, including a manager, yet this matter has still not been resolved.

My experience with this company has been appalling right from the outset. I would not recommend.

Ordered some chairs from this company. Received the wrong ones (wrong colour and style) and have had appalling customer experience ever since. Currently stuck with some chairs I don’t want and over £200 out of pocket.

Ordered 10 x tivoli dining chairs, they arrived promptly on the day that I chose. Three had imperfections with the stitching on the seat pads, I called and spoke to Megan who was amazing in how efficient, friendly and helpful she was. The issue was resolved quickly and an exchange was arranged for 2 working days later. Megan even sorted it so it was a morning delivery for me which is not their normal practice but she said due to me being inconvenienced she would arrange it. Problems happen, it is how they are dealt with that make the difference and Megan was a star and is an absolute credit to the company. The chairs are really good quality and we are thrilled with them.
