If I could leave 0 stars I would but perhaps they should get 1 star for the in-store staff who were friendly and helpful. However after that it goes downhill rapidly.

Order a Sofabed and some sidetables. Measured up repeatedly and checked that "In Room" delivery included upstairs in the back bedroom on a switchback staircase. Order is delayed repeatedly due to Covid. Fair enough we are all having issues this year.

Finally get to delivery day. Delivery driver initially refuses to bring it in because the sofa is wider than the doors (UK standard width front and interior doors mind you nothing special) due to the cushions (entirely separate bits) extending beyond the rigid back. So we open it up and remove all the extraneous fluffy bits. Gets halfway into the hallway and now it can't be delivered because "Health and Safety" regs. say they can't lift it above a radiator or over a waist height banister on the switchback landing. Great.

So they tape it all back up and put it on the Van (lifting it up into a tall van rather than using the lift which it was equipped with I noticed!).

Then I have to speak to customer "services" who say no problem at all the return charge is 25% because they can't deliver it. They did offer to leave it with me for 7 days so I can get it in the house myself which I explain due to Covid regulations is impossible as I have no-one in my bubble that can assist and I certainly can't do it alone. They are "sorry" about that but obviously giving leeway due to exceptional circumstances only goes one way.

I am beyond furious and I will never order another thing from this company again and I advise anyone else to avoid them like the plague as well.

Electric recliner stopped working one month after delivery. I've tried calling customer services for many days and have spent up to an hour on hold. No one is there to attend. However for new sales, there are sufficient staff to attend that number. Easily throttling customer service queries. Terrible service.

Sales people get upset with customers when they sense the customer is not buying right away and show attitude. Also they would give appointment in their own convenient time. The sales person in Orpington is rude and unfriendly. The sales person does not even know how to apply finance online for customers but shows an attitude as if he owns the shop!! Unfortunately there aren't many oak furniture shops available in London but still we would never buy anything from Orpington sevenoaks way. Had a bad experience in May'22.

Oak land told me all my furniture was in for delivery when they delivered one item was missing after assuring me it was all in . Which Tey delivered a week later . So the had all items they just couldn't be bothered to get their customers orders then they cancelled the appointment and when objective they wanted to charge me 60 pounds to have the delivery date back . As an apology they offered 100 pound refund two weeks later still have not received the money oak land done care about there customers

The only reason there is a star as furniture is good quality. I’ve had three reschedules for delivery due to items not ready twice and third the lorry was too big to come and deliver where I live. Yet, articulated lorries come and deliver every day to the trading estate opposite. I got rid of my old furniture ready for them, took time off work etc. I run a business myself and would never mess customers about in this way and come out with lame excuses. Would never buy from again and wouldn’t recommend. Oak furniture Land your customer service SUCKS!!!
