Laurie's Furniture

As a family we have used Laurie's furniture numerous times. We find the service first rate, the prices competitive and the staff helpful...offering information and advice without being pushy. They have great furniture but also all those finishing touches....lamps, mirrors, pictures and decorative bits and pieces. Whoever chooses there display items has a real eye for interior design! Love this store....an asset to the town.

We have just taken delivery of a new sofa, purchased from Laurie's. From choosing it to having it delivered, we've received first class service. We visited the shop several times and each time Liz was extremely helpful, and above all, not 'pushy'. The men who delivered it to our cottage, where nothing is standard, arrived exactly when they said they would, and were very efficient at getting the sofa in through the kitchen. Thank you to all concerned.

Have been a customer for many years and spent a lot of money on mattresses. Arranged a delivery and collection of my old mattress. My son In law let them in and wasn't aware that there was a collection. So they didn't take it. On ringing the store I was basically told tough. They weren't going to come back. They were very late which is why I wasn't there. Would never buy from them again. Once they have your money they don't care. So now I stuck with a double mattess

Got just what we wanted. Lovely friendly staff. Took our old stuff without any fuss and had the new suite in situe
in 10 minutes. Would highly recommend.

Ordered a new mattress from Lauries the service was excellent. The mattress arrived within 2 weeks of ordering and the old one was taken away. We were kept updated when the delivery was unfortunately delayed due to difficulties with a previous delivery but the delivery was made. A special shout out to the delivery guys who couldn’t park close to the house and had to carry two heavy mattress further than they expected and were obviously extremely tired by the time they got to us (the last delivery of the day) they did a great job and were very professional. Will definitely recommend Lauries .

Excellent customer service. Very competitively priced. Very friendly family run business. Purchased 2 sofas. Was kept informed of their progress. Delivery was no extra cost and the sofas were bought in, unpacked, placed and packaging was removed. We will definitely be going here first for any new furniture requirements. Highly recommend. And love our new sofas.

Ignore those bad reviews. They were so kind to my grandmother. Held on to her furniture because of covid, and arranged a safe delivery. And when she wasn't happy with the position of it they came back and moved it for her. She's so happy with her new wardrobe and bedside tables, the gentlemen were lovely and attentive to her, lovely people. 100% recommended!
