Oak Furnitureland

We had a very good experience at oak furniture land. From start to finish they were excellent. They were helpful, knowledgeable and kept us updated of our new table order and delivery. It is such good quality and matches our furniture purchased from oak furniture land about 10 years ago!

Never again! It has been a nightmare!!! I placed my order at the Cardiff shop and when I received my chest of drawers: 1. it was seriously damaged (see pic: crack by more than 1 cm!) and 2. it did not fit stairs. Concerning point 2, we told the salesman on purchase that we have narrow stairs but he said that it was not a problem. However, don't trust them, because despite this advice the measurement was on us and they don't care!!
The second part of the nightmare came with the substitution of the damaged chest of drawers. I spent hours with the customers service because I was supposed to keep the broken one for a couple of weeks (I am 8 months pregnant, I can't wait much!). After that, the delivery has been rescheduled twice (once with last minute cancellation), so that I wasted to days of leave from work. I am still waiting for the substitution...fingers crossed for the 3rd attempt!

Staff in-store are nice, but the parking fine wasn't, and head office customer services were spectacularly unhelpful.

As FTBs we spent £850 in store and also visited the other shops in the retail park because we also need a new sofa, kitchen, and other bits. In total we were there 4.5 hours - and hadn't noticed the 4 hour parking limit.

Got a hefty parking fine in the post and contacted Oak Furniture Land customer service for help - they refused because we'd also visited other stores in the same retail park on the same trip! I can't see myself spending more money with them, and it's short sighted to lose a customer who also needs to buy a bed frame, sofa, wardrobes, dining chairs and other furniture over a parking fine.

Thankfully the parking company rescinded the fine upon appeal but I won't forget Oak Furniture Land refusing to help.

This was our 1st visit to Oak Furnitureland (Cardiff Store) We were greeted with a friendly welcome. As we looked round we were met with a member of staff (Richard) who kindly asked what we were looking for, who then directed us to an upstairs section, where we could find our 6ft bed with mattress to match. We were left to look around for a bit, then Richard came to find us after a short while. We found the staff so helpful and very friendly, Richard in particular, who helped guide us with our purchase. Bed + Mattress = 10% reduction in price, what's not to like. There is, at present, an 8 week wait for delivery but this fitted in perfect with what we wanted. We would highly recommend Oak Furnitureland to others. Thank you. I'll try update this post after delivery.

The furniture arrived and it could not fit up the stairs, I wish they fronted the fact that the furniture is not flatpack. The wardrobe was 144kg... You can't do that without help. Also, when it became apparent that it wasn't happening, I was told that if I returned it I could get a full refund, and that I would be called immediately to discuss it after they had contacted customer service. The delivery drivers left, no call no nothing, I waited around before calling this company at which point I was told I was not getting a full refund, they were going to charge me over £100 for the privilege of being able to sell my furniture to someone else. Awful. Liars!!!

Lovely furniture spoilt for choice really so much to choose from pleasent staff

Visited first time before Christmas 2022. Pleasant staff & good selection of furniture. Salesman Corey McKenzie was outstanding. A true professional whilst addressing all our concerns. Re- visited 2nd January and bought furniture wholly due to above salesman. He even remembered which furniture we preferred. I would highly recommend the store mainly due to Corey McKenzie.

Some very nice furniture on sale with some very good deals. Well worth a visit.
