Nice staff but I wouldn't bother coming here if you need to replace your chess sets. They only sell one standard size, which honestly is quite pathetic that I now have to go to Amazon to buy a replacement set because the specialist chess shop only sells one size.

Again the death of retail is slow but sure, when it's unable to offer even basic selections.

Thank you to the fantastic team in store who gave really helpful buying advice without the feel of a hard or pressured sales pitch. Would have spent more if I had been able to afford it. Will certainly be visiting the store again soon.

Unique shop of its kind. Beautiful chess sets. I happened to ask for advice on my middle game on the way out, almost as a throwaway comment, but the young man who served me took the time to show me a few tips that actually improved my game. Highly recommend a visit.

Chess & Bridge is a really great store with tons of chess sets, books, and accessories. I had a great time exploring their stock items and playing chess outside with their public chess set with random strangers :). You should check them out!

Recently ordered and now received a luxury chess set and bespoke board.
The service and quality of these items are second to none.
Extremely well packed with buffers for the edge of the board both inside the box and out protecting the edges from damage during transit.
The playing pieces are sublime, boxed individually ( white / black ) and each pawn/piece are individually wrapped.
Two extra queens were an added bonus with the set.
The King coming with his crowning glory in a separate bag attached again for damage limitation ( nice touch )
I will be ordering again soon and would throughly recommend to anyone.
A visit to the shop would just top it off in the near future.

Perfect place if you want to buy chess board, pieces, chess book or chess computers..they also have few collectiblles boards. If you love chess and you are in London then you must visit there.

Alfie a Fellow works in there, and he was really nice to me, Told him My story and was Happy to teach to Chess ....
