Trade 2 Play

There are always great deals here. For such a small shop it has an amazing range, crammed to the rafters with games, accessories etc.

The shop owner is a very friendly and helpful man. He is also very knowledgeable about everything he sells.

We are regulars and he will always suggest pre-orders and games which may be of interest to us.

Wheelchair users or those with mobility issues may find the shop a little hard to navigate due to narrow aisles, but it is possible to move around just fine as long as care is taken.

I have been using Trade 2 Play for many years and i have nothing but great things to say.
They will always buy your items from you at good prices way above Cex and will always pay you instantly.
I have purchased many items off Trade 2 Play including all past and recent consoles and accessories.,They were the only place that could source me a PS5 at very short notice and with no issue at all nothing is ever problem if he can get it you he will.,.The owner is a very nice top chap who will instantly help you out and sort any issue that may arise with any products purchased from him if there were any problems also he certainly is not rude and has never ripped me off in the many years i have been buying from him.
I would recommend anyone go visit the shop to either sell or buy as i have never received anything other than 100% top notch quality service.

ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND HIM. I bought a Mario kart 8 deluxe from him yesterday and I went home and it didn't work. I tried it on 3 Nintendo switches that I know work and it still didn't work. I rung him and told him it doesn't work and he was asking why it doesn't work, you tell me I bought a game off you that you should of tested it before selling it to your customers. I took it in the next day and he was lying saying that's not the game he sold me and accusing me of robbing him which i have no idea where he got that from. He was telling me that what I'm doing is wrong and verbally abusing me from there. After some back and forth talking i did get a refund and I bought one from cex which has 24 months warranty. I spoke to one of the workers behind the counter and he said that any game they don't accept that is faulty or damaged trade 2 play buy it and say it works. DONT GO TO HIM HE IS RUDE and rips you off!

Sold my ds xl and games. I come away with way more than CEX was offering, even the staff from CEX go here to buy games and trade, lovely man will definitely buy again.

Always a joy to go into this shop and see all the amazing things on offer, truely a treasure trove of collector editions, rare consoles and games, the owner is friendly and knowledgeable and will always try to give you the best deal he can, you can also trade games, consoles and films in here for credit or cash and its usually a better offer than other stores in the area. Highly recommended

This man is amazing I go in a lot sometimes to look around and I buy my games from him the games are so cheeper that getting them from CEX and the good plus is that he just outside on the next shop right Next to them in Cannock town centre so I will definitely recommend going to him to the owner of the trade of play keep up the good work 👍👌

Popped in by chance this afternoon. What a great find! Owner an absolute gent and prices are cheap as chips. Way cheaper than CEX next door. Won’t hesitate in recommending, and will definitely be the first stop next time I’m game hunting!
