Visited here for the first time last week, and had such an incredible time.
Amazing selection of games and super helpful staff who will advise you on what to play based on your preferences. Cocktails were a lovely surprise which really livened up the entire experience. Food was also very decent for the price bracket!
The cafe itself was clean and spotless, and the staff were wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable about the games.
A really affordable date idea/ or something to do with mates! Only a couple of quid an hour for a table and the food was very affordable.
Loyalty cards are also offered at checkout.

Such a brilliant little spot. Everyone there seemed to be having the best time and the atmosphere was very lively and upbeat. Will definitely coming here again soon!

Huge selection of board games to choose from, and very helpful staff who are happy to recommend you games appropriate to your experience. We were also offered help whilst playing if we needed it which was much appreciated.

Food and drink is good too - not a huge selection, but easily enough that you find something you like. Popular, so worth booking a table.

Such a lovely place to spend a few hours. All the staff are super friendly and so knowledgeable on board games. Me and my partner loved it so much we went two days in a row to try more games.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and can't wait to come again!

Seriously just go, you won't be disappointed, food is great, service is great, drinks are great, something like 700 board games to choose from and the staff know their stuff. Also note wheelchair accessible and budget friendly.

So just go already haha

A really fun place. We booked in for a 2 hour slot and the place was full. There is every board game imaginable and the staff are more than happy to pick some out that you might like and help explain the rules. They also do nice cake and drinks so it's a really good place to spend an afternoon.

Had a great time at dice box, lots of games with variety from party games to something a bit more complicated. Food and drink was also very nice.

Only real downside was despite being friendly the service was very poor. Had a 3 hour session, was only asked if we wanted anything when we arrived, had to go up and find a staff member to order anything else. Also stuff took a long time to come out and then some items were forgotten so had to be asked for again. Not major and it seemed like the staff on shift were relatively new.

Would definitely go again though.

We visited last night as a treat from myself to my partner.
On the whole it wasn't a bad experience, but it definitely didn't live up to the 5 stars everyone else has been giving.
When we arrived and were seated we were told that because of how busy they were, we couldn't have anyone talk us through any of the games. Fine, a bit disappointing as we went to try some new board games that we'd like to buy. We ended up trying 2 games that we'd not played before, but without anyone to guide us, just didn't seem to be getting anywhere, so ended up playing a game we already have so as to not feel we'd wasted our time and money.

We ordered drinks, which once they had arrived were very nice, although the service was very slow considering it was only 2 drinks!

The table we were sat at was right next to the shelves housing the games, which meant that my partner was constantly knocked and having his personal space invaded by people swapping their games out. I know the space is limited, but we actually considered leaving early as he was so uncomfortable.

We decided to order another drink - and played an entire game of gloom (about half an hour) and our drinks hadn't arrived. We were then told we had 15 minutes left of our 2 hours, so ended up cancelling our drinks and leaving early.

The games that we tried were very worn out. I appreciate that they get a lot of use, however their version of Coup smelled absolutely awful and was so worn and dirty that we couldn't bring ourselves to play it and just put it back. I don't feel that it should be up to the customer to point out dirty/damaged/worn games - we're paying for an experience, and it should be up to the staff to check the condition of the games.

Overall it wasn't the treat that I'd hoped to give my partner, and we probably won't be back. I feel like I wasted the money and probably should have just played something at home instead.

Great board game cafe with friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Amazing selection of games to play in the cafe or to purchase. Cannot think of a better place in Leamington Spa to relax after a long week playing great games. An instant favourite.
