Longacres Garden Centre Chelmsford

Really good garden centre, we have ended up having lunch and having a good walk round.
Cafe -really nice, food was freshly prepared and reasonably priced, lots of baby high chairs, very clean.
Garden centre, a lot bigger than it looks on the outside a very good selection especially being October. Staff were very friendly and helpful with our questions.
The stuff they have is very good price wise compared to other big garden centres
Lots of stuff for christmas on the shelves
We will definitely come back here for lunch and bits.

Very good modern day garden centre. As always it's slightly more expensive than your High Street store, but then it does sell a different product.
A cafe, pet corner, plant's, garden furniture and even a grocery section can be found here amongst others. Worth a visit. We purchased a fantastic set of garden furniture at a discounted price with free delivery. 👍👍👏

Good garden centre adjacent to B&Q. Big shop too selling a large range of interesting non gardening ranges including food, off licence, toys, indoors ornaments etc etc. Also a good cafe, although on A Monday they did not offer any fresh gluten free cakes, just pre-wrapped stuff a la Costa Coffee, sadly. Very eclectic place overall, in a good way! Garden centre has had a fairly recent makeover too, with new large entrance canopy and reorganisation of plants. Perhaps because of that and the hot, dry weather, range of plants seemed a little more limited than usual?

After trawling unsuccessfully around several places,
I visited Longacres in Chelmsford. I was looking for something specific, but didn’t know what they were called… I asked the first assistant I came to (Leah) for “ground fixings for a rose arch”. Although she was unsure what they were, she promptly googled what I’d said and confirmed the type of fixing I wanted. She then asked one of her coworkers (Ryan) if they sold them, showing him a picture from Google on her phone. He promptly went to the stock room to look and came back with exactly what I needed. I was very impressed with their service and for taking the time and effort to help me find exactly what I needed to secure my rose arch. Thanks again.

Amazing. Lots of beautiful plants all very well looked after. Everything you could possibly need for your garden. They have a great floristry department and lot of things you will probably never need or think of but will definitely want!!

I went along to the Wreath Making evening on Dec 1st. Have to say it was a lovely couple of hours, the 2 ladies taking the class were so helpful and friendly. With their help and guidance, I made a beautiful wreath for my front door. Thank you so much for everything ladies! ❤️

Since their "upgrade" last year there's always a great selection of plants. Worth browsing their reductions.
Their store, cafe and pet section are also pleasent.
Lots of parking space
