Bromley Hayes

I had heard that the carvery was good here, but instead we just stopped for a quick coffee and a look round the garden centre. I thought that £13.50 for 2 very mediocre coffees and two smallish pieces of cake was a bit steep. The restaurant and cafe looked more like an old canteen and the garden centre wasn't very impressive either. There wasn't a great selection of plants etc. and what they did have seemed pricey for what it was. Won't be returning here in a hurry.

Very helpful staff and easy parking. The lovely lady helped me to my car and put my heavy bags of compost in it for me.
I always get all of my garden plants from there. Always good quality and at a very reasonable price.

Carvery lunch good selection meat and veg. Meats ok but beef very over cooked and dry. Pies homemade and very nice. Veg nice and hot regularly topped up. Staff friendly and helpful

Went to this place to kill an hour of my time while the girls were visiting a wedding outfitters just down the road. Well what can I say about this place. Like stepping back in time, huge place but not a lot in there. Prices on the goods they had in there were about average. Plant selection was limited I thought but if you liked geraniums they have loads of these! The coffee shop is a full blown antiquated restaurant, however the meals I believe are very good. I didn't get time to try anything except for a coffee and I was the only one in there on a Saturday at 11:0am! All in all well worth a trip if you are passing.

Top marks for everything, excellent service, friendly staff and food better than anything your Mother could make.
And lots of it too.

Went on Sunday 22nd September for my parents 40th wedding anniversary & me being 8 months pregnant.
Went up for food at 1.30pm & there was no meats left..drag ends. Only thing left was cottage pie which was salty & lumpy.
No sorry for the lack of meat.
Awful service & food. Not worth the money.
We all went away hungry.
Avoid!!!

Carvery was lovely. A great selection of meats, pies and veg. Good service and very reasonably priced.
