We are looking after a dog this week and did not realise that you could sit inside. Had it not been for Janet Wilson we would have been sitting in the cold. Janet was so helpful explaining where we could sit even carried our tray and help us to a table inside and fetched a water bowl for Bonnie.
So a big thank you from Diane and Gordon very much appreciated.

We stopped to get out of the rain. Nice place, stocks garden stuff, cloths and selected supermarket food. Cafe is very comfortable. A place to spend time and relax while spending money on something you didn't know you wanted (of which there is plenty) not tat, real usfull stuff.

Entered the children’s play area and noticed it’s alarmingly warm with the air con not on or working and the air was thick and humid, lots of covid safety measures but all tables plastered in food and rubbish as were the floors, under the orange benches haven’t been cleaned for a long time it’s thick with dust, food and the like. The safety door closed on a small child without stopping and a parent had to force the door open. Tea and food were fantastic but these cleanliness issues let a paid for experience down massively. We saw no cleaning the whole time we were there in the play area while other areas were spotless.

We had a great morning here, a lovely breakfast and the best santa we've ever seen!

My 'go-to' place for an afternoon tea, lunch, and breakfast. Great place to relax and enjoy the plants and the garden. Convenient to have a Sainsburys shop within the premises as well. The gift shop is stocked with unique, beautiful items. Being a member has great perks; free coffees each month for a £12 membership per year. Plus, you get a birthday treat each year! In fact, we're on our way there to have a festive lunch!

Food has improved here over recent visits which is good. Great small soft play area for children and a wide selection of garden centre bits and pieces. Prices are quite steep but can't be helped as it's a chain.

The garden centre has a terrific range of products and plenty of parking. The restaurant lets it down. It takes far too long to get served. You need 4 people min serving not 2. Sort that out and it's a winner all round.
