Went mainly to see the gnomes which used to be in the Gnome Reserve, now housed in the garden centre. Bought back happy memories from 30 years ago.

Lovely garden centre with a variety of kids toys, pets toys, food, drinks, garden accessories, plants and clothes. There is a cafe within the garden centre with seating outside and a small playground for kids up to the age of 10 with a slide and a swing. The garden centre was clean and tidy with well looked after toilet facilities very friendly and helpful staff.

The Gnome Reserve and Wildflower Garden trail is fun for all ages with over 250 gnomes with lots of them hiding to spot along the way. Dogs are welcome too :-) well worth a visit!

Lovely food and people! Some really nice items in the garden centre. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. A must for any Gnome lovers as they have a Gnome reserve!!

We went for the gnomes but the garden centre and gift shops were great! We also ate in the restaurant 3 times on our five day holiday. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. Would highly recommend a visit 😍

Had a lovely carvery lunch with hubby and brother. Staff were so polite and friendly especially the young lad who served us. Main course was fantastic. Unfortunately when it came 2 dessert, only 2 out of 3 were good. Hubby had bread and butter pudding and was served the end piece. It had obviously been in the microwave for far too long as it was like a piece of rock and he was only able to eat the very centre. Did tell waiter who assured us he would inform the chef, whether he did or not we don't know. It's a shame as the rest of the meal was lovely, but it has put us off going back 😢😢

Fantastic place for kids under 10 who would enjoy a walk to hunt the hidden gnomes dotted around the place. Over 250+ gnomes well placed in the park.

An attached play area with swings and a big slide to entertain the kids at the end.

The garden centre is well organised and the staff is extremely helpful.

Fine way to end the garden shopping or gnomes walk with a sit-out in the garden and have a coffee or more from the in-shop restaurant.

Worth a visit, thoroughly enjoyed!
