Here with friend for lunch fantastic fresh all well until two persons came in with small dogs in pouches ok but to take them from pouch to sit on table sorry for us no no. Weather was warm and out side was empty was disappointed that they were not asked to eat outside. I will not be able to eat inside again and I do love your food every time I have been.

I could get lost in this amazing place. I didn't want food but what I did see of the food area looked nice. There is just so much to see in the store, I think that if you need something except white goods, you'll find it here! Then - I went into the garden centre part of the store. This is without doubt the best Stermat store I've seen. I got 4 lollypop molds (shaped like ice cream cones) for a pound! Some of the plants looked a little sad but after the weather we've had you can understand it if the leaves were a bit scorched - they're better than a lot of other places and they were watering the stock whilst I was there. Beware of trailing hose pipes - there are signs to warn you.. The staff were all friendly and helpful-lovely lady on the checkout, which is constantly attended-no having to look for staff to help - they're right there. This was a great experience and somewhere you can lose yourself for a couple of hours and enjoy a meal too. I'll be back there. Loved it.

Oh the irony! Visiting an area of Wales, proud in their cultural heritage, where the Welsh language can be heard while walking down the pavement, yet this place ONLY accepts ‘English’ bank notes and refused Scottish notes, the excuse being they’ve had a spate of forged notes, like English bank notes don’t get forged. The one star was for the very nice, but somewhat slightly embarrassed lady who served us.

The store itself is great, plenty of stock and choice, the staff are helpful however there was 1 cashier who was beyond rude, and this is not the first time I have witnessed her rudeness to customers. There was 2 tills open but only 1 que, it was not obvious from the direction we were approaching the tills that customers were expected to form 1 que so when a custome including myself approached the till that appeared to be free we were shouted at to get to the otherside and wait so to be fair to others. Yes that is fair but it it is not expected to be spoken to in such a rude manner. As she served my husband he was surprised at the price of the item he was buying and deciding to only buy 1 she rudely said to him "well you don't have to buy them" insinuating he go else where! The other cashier was lovely and polite, it's not difficult to smile and be polite. Shame really as we won't be going back there 😕

Excellent shop, everything you could think of. Great cafe within, food very nice. Easy to find and car park is very big, although on a sharp incline. Would definitely recommend a visit.

I actually wouldn't even give one star.
Staff in the cafe are rude and ignorant. Whilst at the counter waiting to place our orders, staff completely turned their backs to us. Had their own conversation, completely aware that customers were waiting to place an order.
We went elsewhere.
