Went to buy a mower, felt like the owner was from a by gone era; polite, knowledgable, helpful, welcoming... Its only when you meet someone like this that you realise how bad retail has got elsewhere. Got exactly what I needed and a good price. Got lots of additional useful information. The mower was assembled, tested and prepared when I went to pick it up. First rate service all round. I would strongly recommend this business.

Fantastic to deal with someone who knows their trade and gives good advice. Old time customer service. I went to look at a few mowers and the owner explained how the dealer mountfield mowers differ from the B&Q cheaper modles​ I had previously bought. He also gave me advice on fuel needed and set up the new mower for me. Delighted with my purchase and will be returning regularly for fuel. I have already recommended you to others. Thank you.

Cardiff Mower Services is a great example of how a good business should be run. I needed a new blade boss for my Mountfield mower and thought I had correctly identified the part. When I placed the order I received a telephone call asking me to look at the identification plate on the mower in order to confirm the type and serial number. Without this, I would have bought the wrong part! The shop is willing to give good, old fashioned, knowledgeable service so that the customer is not disappointed. I would thoroughly recommend giving them your custom.

I would first of all like to say what excellent service I received from Chris when I dropped off my echo strimmer. Extremely knowledgeable, polite and friendly. You never get this kind of service at a large retailer.

Not only did he manage to repair my strimmer, he went out of his way to get the part needed which is now classed as obsolete.

Not only did he go above what was needed, he also pointed out that standard petroleum fuel only lasts up to 3 months in the tank. Secondly it corrodes the parts within the strimmer. He told me about the ASPEN 2 fuel which has a shelf life of 10 years and doesn't corrode your equipment.

As a result of his knowledge and friendlyness I purchased a 5L bottle and will continue to purchase my fuel from there.

Overall very impressed with the service and knowledge. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs their garden equipment serviced or repaired. Also a Very good range of garden machinery including brands like STIGA. Will be going back in the new year to look at a chainsaw. Keep up the good work.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Telephoned them after experiencing an issue with my chainsaw not running properly. Other dealers in cardiff were either too busy to help or wanted a lot of money to service the product. Cardiff mower services suggested trying aspen fuel as an alternative as the fuel in the tank may have degraded- and the chainsaw started first time and runs like new. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in need of service / repair of their garden products. Businesses like this are few and far between these days but so glad to have found this gem.

Great place for all gardening equipment. I spoke with a very helpful and knowledgeable person who explained exactly what I needed. I made the purchase and had a demo of the product and it was all ready to take away on the day. Highly recommended.
