This is a beautiful garden to explore with it's house and castle ruins. You will find both formal/imformal gardens and at the moment a beautiful collection of Snow drops. I would highly recommend the cream teas here!!

We visited on Thursday 28th Feb. Although the snowdrops had gone over, there were lots of helebores of various colours to enjoy. I loved their ancient looking 19th century folly gate-house and what i think are the ancient castle ruins.

In the tea room, tea was tasty, I had 2 cups and a delicious hot chocolate later on. Cream tea was 1 scone with plenty of jam and cream. Also tasty and not expensive. I also loved the fact that we were able to see this quirky room inside an otherwise private family house. Normally Benington Lordship Gardens are 5 stars it wasn't their fault that the snowdrops had gone over.

We went there to see snowdrops. The place is quite well maintained and pretty. There are a few gardens which should look attractive in a few weeks. The on site restaurant was closed but the community centre nearby was open serving drinks, sandwiches and cakes. Parking was free, big enough. Dogs not welcome.

Bennington Lordship Snowdrops. We didn't pick the best day to visit for weather, however the gardens were well worth the visit, the village is a lovely English village and visit on a Sunday to get the benefit of the concert. Don't forget to get your cream tea just to put the cream on top of your visit.

Chilli festival was great. Good selection chilli but other products were available. Great for kids, clowns, puppets, face painting and live show. Grounds and hall very nice. Entrance price very reasonable.
Sadly no dogs allowed but for a good reason as some of the passages are a little narrow.

Lovely walks around beautiful gardens. Even more special when it's only open a few days a year. Highly recommend the gardens and a walk around the town

Lovely gardens to wander around and enjoy the spring flowers! Toilets open. Enjoyable couple of hours with my 10 and 15 year old daughters
