Really nice spot- near a waterfall and some shops. It commemorates a tragic accident that happened there in the 1980s.

A tranquil place next to the river with a weir/waterfall and benches that catch the sun in the afternoon. Plenty of ducks to watch and the clear water makes it easy to see the effort that they put into steering that goes on under the water. We were fortunate to see a heron fishing from the rocks.
It may be beautiful, but it was created by to commemorate three teenagers who sadly lost their lives nearby in a truly unfortunate accident.
This makes a perfect place to sit and contemplate the meaning of life, the loss of life or to simply eat your packed lunch while out walking in the area.
