A lovely chill place to walk and just take five. Park on Dog Kennel Lane and walk towards end of lane to find wooden Gate entrance.

If you fancy a quiet walk then this place is as good as any. Nothing in the way of kids entertainment but me and my grandson had a chilled couple of hours there. We took a small picnic but no tables only benches and the ground to eat from

Always a favourite for a walk and a wild explore and play.

A magical mystery tour. I didn't know what to expect but I got more than I bargained for. A real little secret garden. I got the essence of a time gone by walking around the gardens. And the tree!!! It's HUGE! Although we saw other people, you get a sense of peace and tranquility. Stunning. 💚💚💚

Lovely surprisingly tranquil wooded walk by water

Small informal community woodland mostly let to go wild and natural with minimal intervention. It's not easy to find the entrance - which isn't sign posted. The main entrance is off the main road A361 next to the Cricket Club. Through the ornate gateway. Park the car outside as there is very limited parking at the end of the single track lane. Best leave that space for less able people. There is another entrance off Dog Kennel Lane but there's no parking there. You'll need wellies or walking boots as the paths are not paved nor gravelled. Take your own seating if planning to stay a while as there were no benches when we visited.

Lovely place to visit, quiet with a nice little walk around the woods and ponds, we spotted a Crayfish in the canal !! it's not a huge place and doesn't take long but it's well worth a visit !!
