The garden makes use of the slope on one side and trees on the other to frame and enclose it, creating a wonderful setting in the hills. Statues, a grotto, a stumpery, a woodland walk, wildflower meadows, the use of perennials on mass. Plenty here to keep the keen gardener interested. Looked good even in the rain and German cake to match.

Superb combination of carefully tended formal lawns leading to exciting borders and beds, many with enormous Gunera/rhubarb foliage. All artistically interlaced with statues, art work, water features and structural forms making it a joy to wander around...even in the rain! And a great woodland trail undulating along the banks of the stream. Great place to visit.

Feel so lucky to have seen this garden. It has its own cave!!!! Stayed in the gate house and had chance to walk around gardens every day. So peaceful and well kept, totally unique and full of surprises. Thanks!!

Beautiful gardens and so glad we journeyed out of our way to visit. The hosts were wonderful and we received a warm welcome. They were very informative and willing to spend time talking to us about the creation of the garden, Woodlands and stumpery. A wonderful few hours spent in beautiful surroundings and well worth a visit.

Awesome gardens, wonderful variety of trees, plants and flowers beautifully landscaped, including lovely garden features and a woodland walk. Plenty of butterflies and other insect life thriving in the gardens. Highly recommended.

Wonderful off the beaten track gardens plus a glorious woodland walk in the Cwm and magnificent flower meadow. To finish off, delicious home made chocolate cake and tea. Fabulous afternoon out. Thoroughly recommended.
