I had an issue with my boiler where I had fluctuating cold to hot water, I obviously feared the worst and thought my boiler was completely finished however I contacted Johnson's who sent someone out very quickly, diagnosed the fault accurately and also gave me a clear explanation of the issue..... I had a call a day later from a very nice lady who booked me in for the repair, the repair was carried out today by a very nice chap (apologies I didn't get his name) who completed the repair quickly and tidily and even advised me of another small repair that my boiler needed while he was there (he did that too at the same time)
Yay I now have hot water again which is great.....
Johnson's are highly recommended.... Great communication, prompt service all at a really good cost.......

Fitted our new boiler last year and gave good impartial advice on location and type of boiler along with reasonable quotes for costs. We had ours moved from the kitchen to the upstairs airing cupboard and are very happy with this arrangement and the work done. The fitters were very competent and careful and we highly recommend this company.

Saved the day! I called up midday with an urgent request when my elderly relative's heating packed up and they were great. They understood my concern and diverted someone within a couple of hours to troubleshoot. I was very impressed when they diagnosed the water pump had failed and they had one on the van at the right price to install there and then. Great service and great value for money.

Unfortunately I need to leave my first ever negative review. In summary, they visited to fit a new emersion heater, and brought ineffective tools, leaving me with a leak, a broken clip holding the electrical wire in place (preventing it being accidentally pulled out), and a lost bolt for the casing covering the emersion heater thermostat and electrics.
If you want the detailed explanation...
The young lad they sent for the job bent his tool trying to force the emersion heater free... i suggested it needed 'tapping' free but by then we had nothing of use to give us leverage to perform this. His decision and verdict was to tell me it was impossible and I needed a new cylinder... £180 becomes £580... great!!
So... I went and bought a Monument 361t (correct tool) and knocked it free in 10seconds with minimal force..... note however, before starting I removed the jacked from the cylinder as it was torn so i had bought a new one for a few quid. Upon removing it i noticed it was saturated, but I assumed it was the kid made a mess and spilling water when he drained it... i eventually found out in fact that the kid had ruined my cyclinder with his impropper approach of force versus skill, creating a split in the neck. I spoke to the owner of the business, and he was really dismissive, he blamed me!!! Absolute nonsense. Mostakes can br made, that is life, but really you need to hold your hands up once in a while. Trust is crucial. He told me that because I had now worked on it myself I had voided hos liability... i kind of understand that, but i also proved he was using the wrong tools and approach, which caused the problem. i also found the saturared insulation jacket BEFORE i touched it, i nust didnt realise the cause.... what was I supposed to do.. phone him and say hey, you got my old split insulation jacket wet, come and take a look... at which point they would do what??? Come and say, "oh yes we ruined your cylinder".... rubbish!

This business cost me a lot of money. The kid he sent was on the phone a lot, clearly out of his depth. Probably a very good company if the main man attends, but be cautious who they send... im out of pocket... going forwards ill be checking that the company or plumber i contact does the job THEMSELVES !

Another plumber HAS done the job, and did it well.
