ESSO TESCO RIDGECLOSE KETTERING EXPRESS

Being very generous with the 3 star review here and not sure why although should any of the staff that work here please do not despair! It's not you guys I am annoyed at.
Always go here for my petrol as I believe that it's good quality petrol so in the long run its better for the cars engine and occasionally will put the posh stuff in too. Brilliant.
A couple of real gripes I have are the fact when it's extremely busy say between 3-6 on a weekday you get someone filling up their car, car is still at the pump and your stuck behind that car for at least 10 minutes because someone has decided to do a flaming weeks shopping in the Tesco Express that really infuriates me. For when I just want to get petrol why should I be stuck behind a car that is sitting there for so long? I know the law states that you have to pay for petrol before driving off and everything and I am proberly right in thinking the way the pumps work that it has to be paid for before the pump can be in theory reset. No problem there so why couldn't someone pay for their petrol move their car then take as long as they like In there shopping?

Finally everytime I go and put some air in my cars tires there is always someone parked in that flaming bay where I end up waiting at least 15 minutes before giving up and going else where honestly drives me mad! Other than that yes I can recommend this garage for their petrol!

The teller lady was extremely helpful. Manager not so much. I tried using my fuel card as I can only fill up at Esso with it. Seems they are a Tesco filling station rather than Esso as the system would not accept my card. If I had known that I would have gone elsewhere. Also they do not credit necter points.

Good as far as petrol stations go, Tesco express, bad idea, as idiots park at the pumps to get their shopping and don't even have fuel

Shop is good to use if you want something in a hurry. Fuel is always far more expensive than everywhere else. Parking available too.

Excellent location good service but as you can't pay at the pumps and the station has a shop. Both can get very busy.
You can't pay for fuel at the self service so you should stop the shoppers from paying for food items at the fuel kiosk so fuel buyers can leave quicker.
I stood in a very long queue with both fuel and food buyers while the self service tills were empty. This makes me want to stop using your convenient fuel station

It is a great place to get snacks and food if needed but the card machine was broken at the time so that's why it is 4 stars.
