Sainsbury's Petrol Station

Large station with automatic car wash, free air and water. You can pay at the pumps or in the kiosk but neither are open 24 hours.

Prices quite reasonable, usually only a couple of pence per litre higher than ASDA. Large and spacious kiosk.

How to review a petrol station... Well it's actually worthy this time as I was impressed with how clean it was and how spacious too. The pump didn't accept my card but maybe it was my tatty old card to blame! Staff polite and good choice of groceries in the kiosk. Now that's a good honest (longer than expected) review of the petrol station.

Convenient with a decent selection of basics, food, treats, wine, lager etc plus has a Costa machine

Recently topped up deisel at longwater sainsburys petrol station. Within a minute of driving it my car died. I was recovered by AA and taken to a garage who told me it was the fuel that had damaged my car. They replaced all the fuel and cleaned everything to then try the car again for it to die pretty quickly after starting up. It's written what was my healthy car completely off and I'm now having to scrap it.. complaint is in process. Would not recommend.

I lost my bank card and the two gentlemen in the kiosk couldn't have been more helpful, helping me search for it, giving me tips on where to look and when we didn't find it telling me to do a temporary freeze which I had no idea I could do. They managed to alleviate all my panic and I can't praise them enough. Both of them are a credit to Sainsburys.

Always good price for petrol but often slow to pay

Small shop but it sells most things you might want.

Good space between pumps with extra long hoses so can reach any side of the car. Pay at the pump makes it all very easy and efficient with no need to go inside.
