Central Co-op Food & Petrol - Sutton-in-Ashfield

Diesel pumps are always leaking and the handles soaked in diesel. Every glove dispenser was empty of gloves at all the pumps. This isn't a 1 off, it's always the same.
When I asked at the till why the pumos are always wet and no gloves available she said "dont you"
Then some self appointed young lad of some kind of manager said "there is gloves, have you checked them all?"
As I left the shop I went to every pump while he watched from the comfort of the shop, as I showed him they were all empty he shrugged his shoulders.
Absolutely abysmal service, I run 4 vehicles which all need fuel. Shell now gets my custom as theres never a problem there.

Went to get some batteries and some sweets and a drink from the co.op petrol station in sutton.... the one opposite the cemetery.....n i had no problems with service at all..... Brought sweets and a drink and my batteries were given to me from behind the counter....all good n all good covid features in place too! 😉👍

Shame 🙄 the carwash is gone forever.

Went to the counter to pay for shop items placed on counter and buy spirits. Staff Gurma looked and ignored me as more interested in another staff member rolling up her trousers to show her bad legs and carried on talking to her. After waiting I asked to be served, Gurma scanned my items whilst still looking and talking about legs whilst I again waited to pay. I had to ask to pay as not acknowledged,as still ignored I put the money in front of her, I didn't buy what I went in for due to not being "served" by this ignorant staff member.

On 11th May appx 1.20pm needing some petrol I called in at Huthwaite Road Co op.
Only having a £10 note on me i filled up my car despite pausing ar£9.98 I unfortunately went over to £10.01
On visiting the counter I immediately said sorry I've gone a penny over I was told it was £10.01 and was then spoke to as I was some sort of half wit by a female member of staff.
I have visited this store on many occasions previously and usually found the pleasent

Living close to this petrol ⛽️ station l have used it for many years and always found the staff helpful and friendly.
For wheelchair users l would think that maneuvering within the store would be difficult There is a reasonable selection of everyday food stuffs papers cards and magazines
Plus a drinks dispensing machine
Ample parking for those just wishing to purchase food

My husband visited this store today 27/8/22 and the lady that served him certainly needs to learn some customer service skills!! She was very rude and very abrupt with him!! Even the lady in the que behind him commented, no manners what so ever

Pleasant very friendly cheerful staff can laugh with mostly night time staff keep up the cheerful friendly faces

Awful staff, no apology for the parcel returns system being out of service. I’d travelled a fair distance and asked where the nearest alternative store was to which she glibly replied “no idea”. I agree with another unhappy customer review here - the staff are in the wrong occupation.
