Newly refurbished site, with a Little Waitrose shop installed as part of the refurbishment, which carries a good selection of items. Fuel prices, when visiting on Wednesday 9 September 2020, were at reasonable rates.

Amazon lockers are available on the forecourt. Handy for collection, or return, of Amazon purchases at a more convenient time of day. Great location for UCA students living in rented accommodation nearby.

Do watch for the odd car speeding onto the site. Thankfully, no one was hurt when I witnessed a driver enter at a speed to park for shopping.
This is not the garages fault, however, some traffic calming might be an idea due to the speed of the main road, and the sheer ease of entry into/onto the sites forecourt.

Update 2020-09-15: The car wash is no longer available at this location. It was removed when heavy plant was installed for the refurbishment. At the side of the building (main entrance) two car charging points can be found. There is also a cash point on site. Contactless payments up to £45 can also be made at this garage.

Only 3 stars not because i had a bad experience, but because the place shows open, but as you can see in the picture, there's nothing but a construction site.

Does the job if you're in a rush though.

It might have been better if this place had more sandwiches available.

The Customer Service Assistant was really nice and kind. The place was also very clean.

Stopped here on Wednesday evening (8th Sep 2021, 8pm) to get some dinner, walked into the shop and was hit by the stench of urine - Then noticed the door to the customer toilet was obstructed and there was water flowing out from under its doors. The entire shop was slowly being flooded by sewage, and yet they were still operating as usual. Given the shop sells fresh food, im sure this is unsanitary and against all kinds of rules.

EDIT: Have contacted Shell as per the message below. Have also contacted Waverley Borough Council.

Busy but handy. New shop and forecourt. EV rapid charge point available (and a second one awaiting commissioning)

The toilets were not cleaned. The floor had dirt and it looked like this place had not been cleaned for ages

My go to Shell for weekly fuel! Great clean site, friendly staff and well stocked shop for drinks, food etc. Will recommend
