Good prices, competes with local superstore prices, car runs better and does more miles between refills over supermarket fuel.

The worst day at a petrol station!! 8:35 am , I see I don’t have petrol in the car and I go to Esso ... I notice that it goes both ways .. only four pumps operate , an employee wakes up to Close another pump for cleaning . Many cars come in and in 5 minutes the exit is blocket . I was on my way to school with the child an I started crying it was already late. I will never go here again Even if it’s close from my house .😥

Staff here are supper helpful and friendly, fuel and air for tires always available and trouble free and the food and drink are good quality and kept in excellent conditions. This is a reliably good garage with a great shop.

WARNING: Information on opening times is misleading. Fuel is available 24/7, however the store itself opens between 6am-10pm.
I could only find this information out by going there myself, being ignored, and making a phone call.

This is not a 24 hour convenience store.

I am a regular at this petrol station and everyone is pretty pleasant, until this morning.
Some employees evidently have no consideration for the customers that have been queing for quite some time to get their petrol first thing during rush hour trying to get to work and other places. Just as i was about to move forward and top up a woman comes along and abruptly cuts me off by placing a large ladder and cones in front of my car with no warning, no communication or explanation, bearing in mind i was the last vehicle in that queue and there were no other cars behind me.
When i asked if the petrol had run out, she just stated she was cleaning and i then stated why she couldnt have waited until i had topped up my car as no one else was behind me.
I would have expected her to have placed the cones behind my car as a gentle heads up for other oncoming vehicles that the pump will be temporarily closed, until she completes her task.

Staff clearly need some customer service training and how to do their jobs without causing disruptions to the services. I understand it is part of their job, in which case i understand, but there are ways to do this to ensure they are accommodating for their customers. There was no reason for this woman to cut off my last car, when she could have patiently waited, which i thought was unreasonable.I was in tears afterwards, due to the inconsiderate woman, as i am a Registerer Estate Manager in a social care environment and was under a lot of pressure to get to an emergency, if people showed some consideration to others, and act appropriately, it would save so much aggrovation and time

Every night after work I come where, night shift guy worst ever. Very often need to wake up him, he don’t give you what you ask, always rude and don’t care about customers, sometimes he pretends don’t see you. His colleagues nice and professional.

I have an extremely severe illness and so I asked Kumar, the cashier, if he could sanitize his hands for me before serving me. Every other shop in Harlow (except the new staff at M&S by the M11 round about) don't mind and do it gladly for me without me even having to explain I'm unwell. Kumar claimed he didn't have any, but he had about 30 of them on the counter right in front of him that he was selling. He was wearing gloves but they are pointless unless changed regularly or sanitized. I asked him to wash his hands instead and he said no. I asked for details of the manager and he said he was the manager. I doubt this is true because a manager wouldn't treat an extremely unwell customer in this way. I have now reported this to HSE. Also, the whole shop smells strongly of cannabis.
