ESSO MFG STUDLEY GRANGE

Today a staff member of this petrol station told me "we don't want a customer like you" when I asked why I had to remove a helmet before refuelling my motorbike.
He did not want to keep my debit card as a guarantee during refuelling either.
I removed the helmet and accidentally dropped it as there was no place to put it by the pump. I went to see him again saying what's the point of treating bikers like that and losing their custom.
He then gesticulated a lot and raised his voice saying he knows how to run this business as he'd been doing it for the last 20 years.

Good garage. Easy access. Always polite and great support for the NHS in case you live in Mars and have not heard of....

Nothing wrong with the place per se, just a shame about the miserable attitude of the guy serving. I don't think it's asking too much to expect basic civility, but apparently they haven't mastered it here yet...
Note to staff, if you don't like dealing with people, and can't even muster a hello / goodbye / please / thank you, then don't work in a petrol station or shop...

Very annoying as toilet for customers is always closed.

It's my local petrol station. All the staff is nice and humble.
