Sainsbury's Petrol Station

A quiet day today at Sainsbury's petrol station. This petrol station is usually site busy as it's close to the shopping area and the High Road. Although half the puma were closed, it was still doing a brisk trade. There is a small shop attached which is fairly well stocked with the usual items you can buy at petrol stations. Cost of fuel is reasonable and the area is clean.

I tend to fill up at this petrol station as the price is generally competitive in comparison to stations that are local to me.

Plenty of pumps, so I very rarely have to queue. It can get busy though, as a shopping retail Park and large Sainsbury's are located here.

There is also the convenience of a free tyre inflation and water machine. Added to that, is a vacuum machine that you do have to pay for. Car washing facilities are available at this petrol station.

Car wash has been working for a couple months (as far as I've noticed). It costs £6.50 for full wash with wheel scrub and under wash which is good value.
The price is usually cheapest around and competes with Stapleton Hall Rd garage.
Service is usually fast and efficient but this depends upon who is operating the tills.
McDonald's Drive-thru and large Sainsbury's supermarket are adjacent with a fairly good retail park across the way.
I will 80% of the time go out of my way to use this garage.

Very Friendly Staff Members That Serve The Customers With Respect. Price of the fuel is moderate but its quality fuel. Sweets and drinks with a few accessories are avaliable to buy inside this fuel station. Its a shame that its no longer a 24/7. Can the management please update us if this station will be a 24 hour again please?

Car wash seemed to work but my car came out as dirty as it went in, and I'm not a particularly fussy person about my car.

Very bad staff shouted at my kid because he went to pay

The rudest unorganised staff. You say you open at 6am but you didn’t have the petrol ready or the tills open until 6:13. Dont even answer the phone to know if you have petrol or not. Don’t sell Jerry Cans won’t let me fill up with anything else. Joke. Man was rude and inconsiderate. Dumb people

I suspect the car wash is just a decoration, because it's always out of order. You have more chance of winning a lottery than washing your car there.
