Tesco Petrol Station

Every time I go here the staff seem to be unable to even exchange the smallest of pleasantries. A simple "good morning" or "hello" seem to be impossible for the team they have working here. Instead you get met with a "pump?" Or sometimes they decide to do the hard part for you and actually state "pump 12" as if they are doing you a favour and saving your brain being over stretched.

Its not always like this however, sometimes they have one of their colleague's from the main store come over to have a chat and a laugh. Then they ignore you until they have bothered to stop the conversation and get you out of the way.

The whole team could do with a good lesson in customer service.

Use the pay at pump option, you at least get a "thank you" from the pump making it slightly better at its job than the human staff. One day they will all be made redundant and wonder why...

Nearly always the cheapest petrol locally. Can get very busy at peak shopping hours seeing as it's right next to the very large Tesco but I've never had to wait too long to get to a petrol pump and then be served. There is a very small shop that has the very basics and only two tills, luckily they offer pay at pump which probably helps to keep the queues down.
There is a hand car wash on the side of the forecourt that always looks busy.
The only real negative is the staff, they very rarely seem happy and so their customer interactions leave a lot to be desired.

The staff here are lovely. Often pretty busy there but they have a lot of pumps so not usually a long wait.

There are so many pumps that you will most likely find a pump to use or have a very short wait.
You can pay by card at the pump or go in and pay with cash.
The good thing is you can scan your Tesco club card and get some yummy points as well.
There’s a washing service just next to this. You can leave your car for a wash while you go in and shop.
The kiosk at the station sells some little items like snacks and drinks, they also have some items for your car like windscreen fluid.

Pay at pump and Ron99 fuel as expected. No fuel in Guildford store so this is the closest one. Normally pop by after a weekly shop. They now have gloves by the door to stop people from blagging them all. Service is good and pay at pump is better with no contact service.

Standard Tesco Petrol station. Petrol at a good price. Also they have Momentum higher grade fuels. Could do with making tyre pressure pump free of charge. It's a safety device. Kiosk could do with a refirb.

Poor road markings, difficult to get to the station if first time there.

So I ask the man in the petrol station for some coolant for my car.
"Can't help you there madam I don't have a clue!"
Why is he working in the petrol station?? Not impressed.
